Okay all the balding motherfuckers who are trying to natty save their hair here...

Okay all the balding motherfuckers who are trying to natty save their hair here, which kind of dermaneedling device should I get? The rollers are obviously pretty cheap but I feel like the needles would get dull pretty fast so I was thinking of those electric pen type derma stamps. Does anyone practice dermaneedling of the scalp for hair regrowth purposes here?

Try keto. Yeast overgrowth is a known cause of balding.

Not saying it's the cause of yours but it was for me.

I'm also on fin just in case but yeah

yes must be the keto stopping your balding and not the medicine people take to stop balding

Fin alone plus simple sugars and alcohol causes massive shedding for me even with fin.

pen style is gonna get tied on your hair while you use it. I would suggest just derma rolling it those thing sare cheap and last long if you are not retarded.

It's hereditary. It'll probably stop at NW3 but I need the hairs to look good

I took finasteride but got gyno and lower T, killed my sex drive for a year too.

My hair thinned out loads recently but now it's thick again. I'm nw2 or 3. Irish though so its curlier and hides the issue.

I'm bald but still get mires from the local college girls all the time and get approached in campus bars. I am however looking at getting microtransplants, just because I think having hair would be nice to protect against this places brutal sun

I used an electric razor on 0 and my balding dissapeared! Fucking imbraced it after 6 hrs of reading up on balding products. Growing a beard and getting the tats ive always wanted.

>mfw vikingmode

My facial hair growth is shitty so I can't just shave it off all yet. I'll need a few more years out of this head of hair so I can get big and grow some facial hair and go Tom Hardy in Bronson-mode

What the hell is yeast overgrowth?

>vikingmode

You mean "generic bald overcompensating white guy" mode

dont buy into the bullshit "you can save your hair"

no cure exists - probably will in the future but does not now

minoxodil - will slow down a bit of hairloss, barely enough to make any significant difference and youd need to use it for the rest of your life. ultimately poinltess

fin/dutasteride - lowers dht, a powerful hormone in your body, dont mess with your bodys hormone production cos low dht is not a good thing, google it if you dont belive me.

derma rolling/lazer combs/topicals - wont do shit

the hairs in your scalp are sensitive to dht in your body, stop that and your hair wont fall out....but as i previously said, this solution does not exist and ultimately genetics determine hair loss

>strong cope in this post, Christ

This, 100%. Bald men are more pathetic than manlets, but balding men trying to compensate are 200% worse. Just shave your head, don't get a beard or tattoos. Just be a friendly, ethically sound professional, and people will look past it. Anything else and you're immediately branded a numale/white trash

Buy a set a clippers and buzz it down short. Yeah it sucks. Yeah you'll hear the same shitty jokes from your friends for a while, but it's better than messing your dick up over

if money could buy you hair, Jeff Bezos would look radically different

Look at Elon Musk

>whole post is about not trying to cope
>"s-strong cope in this p-post!"
Fuck off balding soyboy

I applied minidoxil to my face for beard gains and I started growing more hair
not quickly enough that it was worth it, and some of it came in in weird spots, so I stopped, but it does work IME

>who is Wayne Rooney or Elon Musk?

what's this needle shit supposed to do anyway? apply rogaine and then run the needles?

No the idea is it damages your skin just enough to cause a healing reaction which will hopefully produce new hair follicles. It works for me but it's not great progress.

so i could buy this
haargroeispecialist.nl/dermaroller/hgs-dermaroller-0-3mm.47.html

and i would regain some hairs? or do i need to put some potion on this thing for it to work?

>because I think having hair would be nice to protect against this places brutal sun
You're full of shit. If that's your goal just buy a hat.

0.3mm is not deep enough

you need at least 1.0mm user

I already have, I wear my university hat all the time. I don't want to be chained to this thing.

Mirin dat beard.

See, I have a full head of hair at 30, but my beard is not anywhere near as full. Those two things go against each other, it would seem, guys with super full beards tend to go bald early, guys with see-through beards tend to keep their hair.

Yeah it seems that way. I'm just tired of my option being looking like I'm 10 years older than I am, wearing a hat (good luck in professional settings), or looking like a compensating dude with a beard. I mean, I still get laid and got a gf, but really it's just for me.

I don't know much, but I do know that there are basically two kinds of things in a mans life. The things he can change, and the things he can't.

Hair loss, as explained in this thread, is often a thing you can't change, unless you get lucky with meds, or are rich enough to get treatment of the sort Elon Musk got. Treatments are uncertain, costly, and have a degree of risk associated with them.

I know it ain't helping much, but you just gotta decide if trying to change this thing is worth the bother and risk, and then live with the consequences of your decision.

Also, you might want to rethink this whole "compensating dude with a beard" line. Some people might think that, sure. Some will think the look is cool. Most, the vast majority in fact, won't give a damn one way or the other. So thinking yourself into a double-bind like that is pointless, as well as simply bad reasoning.

You're not welcome here.

I spilled minidoxil on my drive walking in from the store and now I have to cut it with a lawnmower every four weeks.

>needs a beard with tattoos to look "decent" while bald

kek

I've been looking into microtransplants, they honestly are not too expensive relatively speaking, a bit more than a laser eye surgery from what I've seen. I want to do it, but I don't know. I may just wait until it gets more advanced, like cloning follicles or whatever.

Here's a recent pic of me, I've been doing the number 1 all over shave.

ur girl is prety

>derma rolling/lazer combs/topicals - wont do shit

Objectively false.

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3746236/

Also minoxodil grows hair for many people, it's not always just slowing down the process. And a 6 month supply is $25 on amazon, stop getting ripped off by rogaine.

>viking mode
>bald
Vikings would be bald by choice as the majority of Scandinavian people do not have the gene that makes their scalp sensitive to DHT. Take your shitty Amerimutt genes elsewhere

Balding just looks like shit but if you're big and bald chicks are on you like Mr. Clean.

It's because the hormone, dihydrotestosterone (DHT), causes the vellus hairs (peach fuzz) of your beard, pubes, chest, etc to turn into terminal hair which is the normal, dark hair. DHT also causes baldness in men with scalps that are sensitive to DHT which is genetic.

Ty bro, I like her too. Been together awhile

Do you work in a brewery? Fellow brewer here! Used to work at lost coast in California now working on starting my own up

I work at two microbreweries on the Texas coast, yeah lol. I've had some lost coast stuff before, the Tangerine Wheat according to my untappt.

Pick related, me brewing my oatmeal Baltic porter

>those hairy forearms and hands

mirin.

That hair ends up in the brew

>not knowing how to greentext correctly

Hairy bros unite

Fooking nice tbqh most of lost coast stuff is pretty shitty but the fog cutter DIPA and indica IPA are pretty tasty.

Stay strong bald bros. I shall probably one day join your ranks, but until then, I only offer my condolences.

That's part of what gives it the distinct flavor.

Possibly the most well groomed beard in existence.

u mean numale mode

Gracias

I'm more of a stouts/porters and sours guy, yall Californians seem to be all IPA all the time

Thanks. She was okay with it, prefers my stubble though

I use the derminator from owndoc.com. Replacement needles are cheap, after the upfront cost its only $5 per time doing it.

Probably best to try the cheap needles for a few months (0.75mm - 1.5mm once a month) and see if it is effective for you. There are a range of responses, including non-responders and string responders (like in your pic). If you're a non-responder you don't want to spend $100+ on equipment.

I have some noticeable regrowth. Not enough to grow out my hair, but enough to keep it buzzed and look good. Maybe someday.

good to see so many positive redditors here on

Veeky Forums maybe we can turn this place around a bit!

Ill message the mods and suggest a gold system!

>fit bros can't talk out life's bullshit anonymously

nettle root
biotin
washing your hair 2 or 3 times a week
medium warm to cold water

Or just shave your head and own it?

I'm taking Finasteride 1mg daily, Minoxidil twice a day and Biotin & use Nizoral and went from a NW1.5 back to nearly a solid pre-balding hairline, AMA.

Been taking it all for 2 years now

How much does it cost you a month?

I pay 7.99 for the 5mg Finasteride which I cut up into 5th's (sometimes 4th's if I can't be bothered) which last me either 4-5 months, Minoxidil I use Kirkland brand which cost 16.99 for 6 months worth and Biotin is cheap as fuck, it cost as much as any other vitamins etc, like 10 bucks for a years worth, Nizoral I barely use it as I don't really need to forgot how much it was but isn't expensive.

It's a condition that allegedly exists. It depends who you ask. Mainstream western medicine does not acknowledge it to be a real condition but thousands of people believe they have it.

It basically means that the ratio of yeast to bacteria in your gut is out of whack and gut fungus has taken over causing all sorts of random ailments.

Comes out to about $4.33 a month.

where do you apply the minoxidil?

on your forehead where the hairline had receded?

do you like comb your hair apart and apply it to the scalp beneath?

I've lost enough that I can't really cut it short without making it more obvious and it's a pain in the ass to apply minox to your scalp where your hair is grown out

I have long hair, enough when I can tie it back and I just pull my hair back and do little drops thoughout my scalp and then part my hair and go across the scalp then a little in my crown, then when first starting out I did put some and rub it in with the applicator where my recession was.

look up candida overgrowth

What mm needles are you supposed to get for dermarolling?

>Yeah you'll hear the same shitty jokes from your friends for a while
Good thing I have no friends h-heh

The longest ones possible... also try applying castor oil as I heard something called PG2 or something is needed

Here is a link:longecity.org/forum/topic/81954-mpb-hairloss-solution-prostaglandin-protocol/

What are your thoughts on rosemary oil as an alternative to minoxidil, whenever I put that stuff on my scalp my head starts throbbing...

Hah I had a simple cure for my hairline receding even though my family has all had full heads of hair until they pass away.

I started using a better shampoo, I quit toweling drying and I used coconut oil to condition it once a week.

Turns out the old shampoo mixed with scrubbing a towel over my head to dry it made my scalp dry and when my scalp was dry it caused shedding of my hair most noticeably around my hairline and crown. As soon as I conditioned it with coconut oil I noticed a difference in how my head felt. Within a week I seen my hairline and crown thicken back up with new growths of hair.

But yeah if its genetic then you're fucked but there are cases like me where its not and you are causing the problem. I'd always make sure thats not the case before you go shaving your head.

>Scandinavian people do not have the gene that makes their scalp sensitive to DHT. Take your shitty Amerimutt genes elsewhere

where does it come from? i'm aryan as fuck and bald as fuck.

>responding to him seriously

The only ones who don't have the balding gene to some degree are the native americans. They also can't grow body or facial hair, either.

Thinking about doing this. I was on mini for about 2 but stopped but of life. Now my balding is worst than ever.

Its genetic for me so I wonder if this all will work combined with saw palmetto

Could you please direct me to that on amazon? Or tell me what to look for?

Its pretty easy. Go to amazon and type in minioxdil kirkland and you'll see 6 month supply.

Also you guys need to visit /r/tressless

>2017
>being racist

kek

how much do hair transplants cost?

you are the person i dont want to be, someone who loses their identity due to no hair on their head, and immediately assumes a beard identity

I have a beard i fucking hate the bald guy beard meme

I don't have problems with balding but my hair has always been kinda thin. Are there any supplements I can take to just get thinker hair?

I'm an advocate for keto, but kindly shut the fuck up, sir. Keto will not cure fucking baldness.

>current year
>people like things I don't like

I have a question for you guys, I'm thinking about getting a degree in fermentation and working in the alcohol industry. is it true that the pay is shit no matter where you go?

You only need to use a dermaroller once a week so it will last quite long. I bought it for 2$ on ebay but its the only derma roller i've ever used so I cant compare the quailty to other derma rollers. Seems fine tho.

mirin progress. how long, 2 years or so?

why did you stop minox?

I'm glad somebody said it

Being white and having a beard doesn't transform you from a doughy bitch hipster into a Viking

Being shredded hi test with a Mohawk and mutton chops is more Viking than ^^

biotin. more fruit and green veg. high quality protein and fats. cardio for blood circulation. minox helped me but doesn't work for everyone.

just to clarify are you talking about ketogenic diet or ketoconazole shampoo?

If That's you, you look uncanny valley unsettling. Maybe it's a bad pic.

Not ugly or deformed, just sort of "off"

>(citation needed)

>hairy

I wonder what inspires people to make images like this? Is teenage edginess that stronk?

JUST FUCKING LMAO@THIS COPE

>anything i don't like is "cope"
Fuck all of you cunts who throw this word around as if it's still effective anymore

I really hope I never give in to the finasteride jew. atm I'm just doing minoxidil + dermaroll and getting surprisingly good results just a month in.

go to the doctor and ask for a blood test if your balding to see if it's something other than MPB that is causing it

>vitamin D, iron, thyroid and others will probably get tested

I'd rather be tall and bald than a short 5'something with hair.

eat well and don't wear hats

This. And be confident :^)
