Now that the dust has settled, can we FINALLY agree that starting strength and 5x5 routines are a huge meme?

Now that the dust has settled, can we FINALLY agree that starting strength and 5x5 routines are a huge meme?

what aspects of those routines are you debating? The ability to gain strength or mass? details pls

Both. Volume is very important.

are you seriously responding to a bait thread

what is wrong with this board man

high concentration of newfags thinking that this is a serious fitness board

OP you do realize that catholicism is where all this equality autism started, right? A catholic neo nazi is like a vegan butcher shop owner. Only an idiot American would ever think otherwise.

It's just a meme guy

Not before you stall

The greatest troll that Veeky Forums ever pulled was convincing the internet that SS was all you needed for aesthetics and that core/bicep isolation was the devil.

>not doing doing 5x5 bench ohp rows then burning out with high rep exercises after
this is seriously the best routine and if you aren't doing this you'll never make it

Is the REg Park beginner routine good? How long so I do it for before switching to an intermediate routine?

5x5 is a bodybuilding thing user.
I don't think you know what you are talking about.

I got good strength results and decent aesthetics after doing it these 4 months. Gotta eat big though to avoid plateaus.

Yes they are largely overrated, their simplistic nature works fine with beginners because their bodies adapt any stimuli.
no it is not, since there is no " best rutine" the only thing you achieve is being unspicifik, not commiting to either building strength or muscle, and therefor being more likely to stall in your training.
no it is not.
5x5 is not bodybuilding in any way. If the goal is to build muscle you would work in the 8-15 rep range. You might have confused the strength oriented offseason training of some bodybuilders with what bodybuilding actually is.
most things will work if you just eat big.

True

NOBODY on Veeky Forums ever said SS was all you needed for aesthetics

>eat big
>to avoid plateaus
lol

>5x5 is not bodybuilding in any way. If the goal is to build muscle you would work in the 8-15 rep range. You might have confused the strength oriented offseason training of some bodybuilders with what bodybuilding actually is.

Huh, huh, I mean all those bodybuilders talking about rep ranges like it matters. It's just a waste of t'iiiime. If you get stronger doing 5x5 on any lift your muscles would get bigger. Don't follow the advice of someone who blast grams of gear. They get bigger sitting on the couch. Just think about it.

>you would work in the 8-15 rep range.
>8-15 rep range.
enjoy your cardio faggot.

You weren’t here from 2010 to 2015, faggot

bait? bait.

It is pretty damn serious all things considered, particularly when 30-40% of your fellow countryman is obese.

SS is bad routine, I'd still recommend to a complete beginner, on a bad day. But 5x5 is a bad rep range all around, this is specially for strength, much like SS it fits completely the needs for SOME complete beginner and that only. I wouldn't even go forward with this past the very first cycle of SS, three months or so.

I remember when I came here for actual advice

Skinheads are a specific group which is the only group that can exist for the white race

>skinheads are an elite propaganda group
>The real National socialists are not allowed to spread their message and these people would be categorized as neo nazis even though they're not the same group at all
