I don't know because I'm a complete newbie (been doing a brosplit and eating clean for about 3 weeks now), but I've been on finasteride, monoxidil (sp?) and nizoral shampoo for years.

The shit simply fucking works, no doubt about it. 32 now, have better, thicker hair than when I was 25. I'll take this shit forever, gains be fucking damned. My weight has gone up though already.

Worst case scenario, I'll pin test.

I'd like to add that I started all of this shit once I first started noticing thinning hair - I wasn't bald, nobody could really tell when my hair was slicked back (but me). If you're already looking like a bald pederast, you're probably fucked.

I have seen no negative sides at all (sex drive, erections, muscle gain etc), in fact I could say they're just as good if not better, although probably not necessarily due to the fin

actually on topic response here, finasteride works by decreasing DHT levels massively, which is why it works for hair, and why it's used for prostate cancer. You have way less DHT than test, but DHT is just more potent test. Technically you might have some slight decrease in ability to gain muscle, but you'd probably never notice it. Just hope you don't get dick symptoms, that's what you should worry about. Not common, but it can really be bad

had the same worries OP, but my personal experience is positive, finasteride has no negative effects on my lifts, energy levels or muscle definition.

I read a detailed study about how it works on "different" sorts of DHT, not necessarily the parts that affect muscle synthesis, so its not an issue.

But I'm also doing TRT - Sustanon 200-225mgs/week. So perhaps my supernatural testosterone levels make up for the loss of DHT??? I dunno.

also my sex drive and erections are the same, maybe my libido went down by 15% or something small, but I appreciate it because it was too high before and my gf is a milf who doesn't like doing it everyday anyway...so its all good
