Unless you have at least a Masters degree from an accredited University, a good career with a real future, and money in the bank, you have NO BUSINESS fucking around in a gym trying to 'get swole' so you can 'bang hot club thots', or however you care to refer to it.

If you're actually in University now majoring in something that will guarantee you get the above, and have at least a 3.5 GPA, I'll give you a pass on this, but the rest of you better re-think your priorities in life.

anyone here ever do a trade apprenticeship? seems like the best option for a young guy these days

Trades are a meme that teachers tell brainlets so they don't feel bad about being dumb, broke and forced to do back breaking labor.

that's a really dumb post user

but i legitimately suck at school so relaly what are the other options?

There's always gay porn and the muscle worship scene.

actually this is a really dumb thread

sage

Fitness is just another step to bettering myself

This is literally you, eat it schoolcuck

And becoming a findom, and taking all that sweet fag cash.

Learn how to study better and apply to university. Trades are full of criminals, drug addicts and generally idiots. Any post telling you that trades are a good choice are literally trolls.

self-delusion

projecting

You wouldn't know projecting even if your lastname was Epson

who are you too tell what to be or do dumbass

>mad
Truth hurts doesn't it?
Oh well maybe you can make it at Community College and *manage* the Jiffylube, LOL

>I didn't go to Uni I'm a NEET being a parasite on my parents money but I'm secretly guilty about it

What is it wrong to try and be the best me I can be?

>triggered

I bought a house, a car, nice lawn care equipment, furniture and go to a nice gym with my "back breaking" job as a automaton tech

>Preaching a degree is the only way forward.
>Letting your education get in the way of your learning.
Sorry for your loss bruv.

Tradie here. I'll be unemployed in 3 months because I'll have enough cash to not need to work any more.

Trades are pretty underrated but whats underrated the most is the ability to wake the fuck up and realise most people have no idea how to live successfully and you can literally do whatever you want.
Doing 8 hours a day for money in a trade or a uni qualified job is earning an income.
What you do in the time afterwards, that's what I consider to be your job.

Degrees don't mean shit if you're not a fucking square.

I'll give you something you can *lube* and *manage*
>he thinks his tech job can't just be replaced with an algorithm

>le you can't x if you don't y
People can, and will, do as they please, user.

>SO mad
..so, how's working at Jiffylube working for you? Is Bubba a good guy to work for? xD

I work as an American graduate assistant. Today I did more good for society than any of you greedy people will in a lifetime. Want to know something amazing? I can feel it in my HEART.

I started work at 5:00AM today. I was able to perform 10 tissue culture assays, purify three proteins, test 7 pre-clinical drugs, prepare 50L of bacterial media, AND write half of a research grant application today. I find problems in experimental design that paid professionals often miss. Even if it's helping the post-doc who is supposed to know what he's doing, I never hesitate for the good of science.

I get paid $18k/yr, USD. Yeah, laugh all you want, you trade school jerks. "Muh opportunity cost", big deal. So you make $60k/yr plumbing from 18-30 while I break even with nothing to my name after undergrad loans are considered. WHO FUCKING CARES. Once I graduate, and then finish my post-doc at 35, I'll be able to find a job ANYWHERE IN THE FIELD. Do you know what the median wage is for biotech researchers in the Bay Area? 80-fucking-thousand dollars a year. You'll never have a salary like that, and certainly not living in such a nice area. That's not even considering all the Numeraire I earn.

And the hilarious thing is you guys think it's all about money. The money is only secondary. Do you have any idea what an honor and privilege it is to work in Dr. Blaustein's lab? I'd do it for free if I had to. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing you're playing a part in curing cancer.

>I regret negelecting my education

HAHAHAHA

cope

>I will NEVER have a girlfriend
>I cry myself to sleep at night repeating all these things to myself

>cope
Do as you will, pleb, I have already won. :-)

>b-but Reddit told me stem masterrace!

>finish my post-doc at 35
Life is practically over at 30, I'll stick with my cozy night shift job while you live at home, ty

>And the hilarious thing is you guys think it's all about money.
No, to clarify, we're laughing at you.

Enjoy the weekend friend, you'll have to ride bright and early Monday for Mr. Goldstein :^)

>he doesn't know 'Mr. Goldstein' is one my direct reports
At least you'll get your own office managing the Jiffylube. Sort of, at least.

I'm NEET masterrace brainlet

>tfw 27 y/o

Ah, I understand now.
>t. parasite
Become An Hero immediately.

Study hard friend! I need those future tax dollars!

Law school student reporting in.
The jury is out; OP is a fag.

I’m doing PLT. Guys that do PLT can make up to 250k a year and it’s not even that hard to get into. Apprentices make more than 100k a year easily.

>spending tens of thousands of dollars on school
>enduring years of mental agony
>only to get a job that pays 80k if you’re lucky after graduating when you’re 30

LOL I've already got my Masters and make 6-digits annually. I employ this guy to offshore the bulk of my money so I don't have to pay taxes on them. xD

That's nice. But what will you do when an AI robot takes your job?
>Jiffylube

Is this serious or a larp. Really difficult deciding.

>at least a Masters
Every person I know with a masters degree is a either a teacher or someone who couldn't hack it in a PhD program. No matter your lot in life, fitness is a worthwhile pursuit

PLT?

>all these tradecucks ITT trying to cope

sorry kids but universities will always be hubs of knowledge and social trends. we'll continue to run the world while you guys follow our orders.

>waiting until your a pathetic 28 year old yuppie to lift
>start with crossfit

You'll be out of a job in 6 years

Lol education as a commodity. Universities will be irrelevant in the next twenty years. Trust me.

>finished half of a grant research application in one day
it is high tier bait

>unironically making wage slavery your goal

Holy shit lmao

I'd love to hear both of your explanations as to why instead of just stating your cope speculation.

You know how cashiers are being replaced by robots? That's you

hey guys i just made this hilarious meme to represent this thread

pretty good right? XD

trades are for mexicans and eastern European scum

>I'm an intellectual
>t. 30 year old cuckold working on his phd

Currently studying Bach of Criminology/Bach of It Security in a double degree. Have roughly a year left on my course.
Plz give my approval

I’ll take the bait
The idea that you need a master’s degree, 3.5+ GPA, etc. to get a good job or be successful is only true if you’re autistic. If you are dedicated, personable, and not shit at networking you can easily get a job with a bachelors degree making good money, given you go into a lucrative field.

>be neet who figured out university is a Jew
>decide to go to community college to do a pre apprenticeship course in hopes of landing an electrician apprenticeship
>have 0 work experience as an electrician
>see this thread

tradie bros pls tell me I'll be ok

Implying that going to the gym can't be done by smart people.
Implying that there aren't mental health benefits
Implying that you're not just a soft excuse for a man who can barely lift his girlfriend's bull's peepee

piss off fag-a-mundo bait shit

Your education seems on point, but you should focus on internships and relevant part time jobs. Think about it, for every job you will apply to there will be 100 other people with the same degree as you, possibly with a better GPA, applying for the same shit. What will make you different is showing you have applied your knowledge in a useful, real-world way.
Also, you’re in luck being in a computing related field because it’s one of the few fields you can really beef up your resume on your own time by learning programming languages, technical skills, and maybe doing some freelance work.

yop. Just got a job as a network engineer despite only taking one class on the subject but acing the interview

as someone who graduated uni with a engineering degree and started my career a year ago. dont do something for money and follow your dreams or else you might end up like me and spend your time looking at numbers on spreadsheets you dont give 2 shits about.

Starting trade school in January. Fuck nursing and fuck Jewish universities.

Hey man me too. A lot of the jobs I see say that school/experience are equal/interchangeable.

This guy thinks everyone can work at a desk. Lol fag

Starting ChemE next year

>submit yourself to these arbitrary standards!
And if I don't?
