Wew. I wish someone told me that.

Do you really need to make an entire thread for attention? Do you really need us to ask "what breathing technique, user?"

The fuck you doing cardio for boy? Weights or nothing

What breathing technique, user?

I think this deserves a thread, it made a fucking world of difference desu

In through nose, out through mouth.

I would but I need a routine

i’ll try this out next time bud thank you

>In through nose, out through mouth.
wow its fucking nothing

why don't you try it ? you're a mouth breather aren't you?

This is the first thing they teach you when you run.

I'M SO FUCKING LONELY

What’s your discord user, I’ll talk to you

Thats not a breathing technique for running. Thats just breathing like normal.

Breathing techniques for running follow patterns for a short duration to help O2 uptake and push out as much CO2 as possible which is usually the issue.

Pattern 1:1

You conciously take long inhale and then a long exhale intentionally pushing in and out as much air as possible for both.

Pattern 2:1

You take two sharp strong inhales and one long exhale

Pattern 1:2

You take one long inhale and two strong exhales

Pattern 2:2

You take two sharp strong inhales and two sharp strong exhales

You use these patterns when you're struggling, not continuously and you do it for 6-8 cycles of chosen pattern. You only use one pattern and it's based on which works for you. There is an actual use case for each but I can't remember as it's been a long time since I've trained my CV.

After you've done each pattern you have to return to breathing normally.

This, I do a 2:1 when I'm struggling until all I can hear is the sound of my breathing and the pulsing of blood in my head, then I can keep going normally

did 2:1 mostly, thanks for posting this tho

>be OP
>keep running out of oxygen
>WTF WHY DIDNT ANYBODY TELL ME I ACTUALLY NEED TO INHALE MORE OXYGEN

>do jogging
>heart and lungs seem to be able to go awhile despite being a fatfuck
>shins give out well before I'm even out of breath

I've been doing 2:2, and as I finish I switch 2:1. I don't remember since when, but it's been a couple of years. works pretty guud. Also, I didn't know about the pattern techniques.

Thanks my man,I find myself breathing with my mouth when I'm struggling and it helps, idk if it's ok to do it but for me it works besides the diziness and bulging veins in my temple after finishing

I've been breathing with like, slightly quick breaths through my mouth only, am I doing myself in? Could I literally run more by breathing differently?

You shouldn't need a routine to start, I did random bullshit the first month or so and still saw gains. If you want a routine try nSuns 5/3/1 5 day, it's good shit.

I been doing
> in, in, out, out
Works great
