Chicken legs

How bad are my chicken legs, Veeky Forums?

They are all I see. Give it to me straight.

My calves will not grow, and my mobility for squats sucks so my progress is slow going there. Might add a dedicated calves day.

For the record, my stats are:

Bench: 225 5x5
Diddly: 3pl8 1x5
OHP: 1pl8 5x5

...

Squat: 185 5x5

you need to train calves everyday or they wont grow.
do 200-500 calve raises everyday on your stairs. i used to do this but then i stopped because i hated it. i'll just stick with having teeny calves and big thighs.

No that wont do shit, calf muscles are slow twitch and respond better to more volume. They are made that way so we can stand, walk, and run for long periods of time without them giving out.
