Really, being "ready to compete" has less to do with the weight you're lifting and more to do with having the basic fucking understanding of procedural rules for lifts so that you don't bomb out solely because you're a complete retard wasting everyone's time.
Don't compete at 148. You're an adult, don't limit yourself to being a twink child in a sport that doesn't matter and you're not competitive in anyway. And don't wait to compete. Sign up for the soonest local meet regardless of stats
