improved mobility and flexibility, aka injury prevention and overall improvement in your body. Doing stretches before lifting doesn't prevent injury and actually increases probability of hurting yourself in some cases. Same with after.

why aren't you training like an athlete user?

Because I'm not an athlete for a reason, user.
My physique is non-standard, asymetrical and completly different than anybody who has chances to be an injury-free athlete.

I can squat over 200kg, bench press 150kg and row 140kg, run a 7 minute mile but simple shit like dancing for 5 minutes criples me with pain for several hours.
