unironically lateral raises

age: 20 (birthday in February)
weight: 151 lbs
time lighting: 5+ months, at least for chins/pushups, haven't kept track
favorite lift: push-up

I do 11.5kg on push-up too but there's no option for that
feels pretty bad, only been trying squat and diddy for a week or two however, back in the day I got to 60kg on squat and 80kg on deadlift

should I be doing squats and deadlift more than once a week? I do them both on the same day, I just prefer doing my bodyweight exercises
also my chins are intermediate according to the site but aren't green/blue, on 5 rep max, great

kind emberassing desu but whatever

like 1.5 years?

probably squat or bench

my lifts are so low because i was fucking around with my diet for like 14 months

I hate ohp so much, I think my shoulders are fucked or something :(

>I hate ohp so much, I think my shoulders are fucked or something :(
Do lateral raises, face pulls and front raises with a plate for cardio-levels of reps, in fucking supersets. Drop the OHP completly for like a month or two.

Then start doing OHP instead of the bullshit high rep shit and suddenly it's not as shit as you thought.

thanks, i've been doing lat raises & face pulls in my PPLPPL routine, but been doing them separately for 3x10-12. You think I should superset lat raises, face pulls & front raises? for like lighter weight & 15-20 reps?

Over five months and not even blue man, how is this possible? Most people start on blue man

I haven't done squats since 3 weeks ago and I've had one deadlift session
I keep missing my squat sessions, it's always on a Wednesday and I do it once a week
I do xxAxBxAxx no rotations, A is chin push-up and OHP, B is squat and dead
is chin and pushup
okay
at least?

no spoilers on fit, fuck

Do start with laterals for 10-12, then face pulls for 10-12, then front raises for 10+.
If you can, up the reps for the next superset, untill you actually fail a front raise. Now you know what's the proper rep range.

Don't even try to up the weight, unless you can do easy 15+ on everything.
Shit is brosplit as fuck, but if your OHP is shitty, you need to build up stabilizers and lay off your triceps for a bit.

Why even bother if you're not going to make an effort?
The proof is already in the pudding, lifting five months and weaker than the average person. Actually commit otherwise you're just wasting your time

but I do make an effort on push-ups and chins and those are what I enjoy most, always have
give me an e-mail address and I'll catch up with you in a few months, show you how thick solid and tight I've got

You need a better routine and you need to actually put effort into working out

Why don't you bench or floor press or do dips or something that actually will build muscle

lifted 3 months after 4 year hiatus, but I've done chinups for 2 years on and off

any advice on the routine? and you're right

my form is beyond awful on bench, I've got nowhere with trying to fix it so I gave up on it

Push ups are bodyweight exercises, "lifts" means something like squats, rows, bench, etc. Also when you say you do 11.5kg on push up, is that on your back or something? What does that mean?

Bench form isn't a massive art. I guess if you start powerlifting you have to think more about the mechanics of the lift and adjust your form, but for a complete novice it's easy as shit:
Get yourself under the bar in a comfortable position
Put your arms on the barbell slightly more than shoulder width apart
Unrack weight
Lower the barbell till it touches your chest
Pause for a second if you want
Push the barbell up
Repeat for your desired number of reps and then rerack

Hit 165KG for 1 rep on deadlift today, which is my hardest lift due to t rex arms and short legs/long torso. I have to go back tonight and do shoulders. I don't barbell bench and use DBs (40KG) hence why it's supposedly lagging.

age: 16
weight: 115kg
time lifting: 3 years, first 2.5 were spent doing my hs coach's shitty program
favorite lift: idk OHP is pretty fun

running an lp for the first time, recent work sets & weights:
deadlift 405 1x5
squat 345 3x5
bench 230 3x5
ohp 165 3x5
power clean 175 5x3

Do you play grid Iron? What's your height? 13 is too young to start lifting weights in my opinion as bones, tendons and ligaments and muscles are still developing until that point
