Taught my wife how to deadlift this week.

I'm currently doing 5/3/1, as reccomended by a friend who is an oly coach.

But I'm pretty weak (1rm 180lb bench, 200lb squat) as it is now. It's take me 9 months to hit 2pl8 bench and 3pl8 squat on 5/3/1, since you add 5lbs on upper body and 10lbs lowerbody a month.

Should I switch to SS and add 5lbs to my lifts per week instead?

The endgame grind of powerlifting isn't even that fun after 400 wilks. So either blast gear for New Game + mode or prepare to hurt for 10 more years for maybe 20-30 more points.

I think my front squat is finally starting to make it bros, turns out taking fucking huge breaths and pushing knees out are my cues. If I put about 20lbs on my skelly frame over the year and get a good belt and I think I might one day not be pathetic.

Form critique plz, I've no idea what I'm doin'. Also my flexibility is still dick and I can't get a full clean grip, what are some good drills for improving that?
