One of my best friends from school was an alright guy but he hated kids who were popular for the sole reason that they were more well liked than him. Even into high school he disliked most of those guys. I never really understood it, but I imagine there are a few people like him. I think a lot of it has to do with media projecting the image that popular kids are assholes and the outsider kids are outsiders because of the popular kids. It's easy to see how kids can watch that shit and then project it onto their lives growing up.

I got bullied all through school, I graduated HS in 07. To this day, it messed me up with low self esteem, extreme social anxiety, and just one retarded (but hot) girlfriend over the course of a few months.

I looked up the names of the people who bullied me, and EVERY SINGLE one is having a shitty life. A few died from suicide, one died from cancer, a few more drug ODs, the rest of them seem to have no friends and are largely forgotten.

How should I feel about this? The people who essentially ruined me psychologically are dead and miserable. There is not one successful or happy former bully.
