Just happened

110 kg 3x5 deadlift

Have I officially made it?

No. For 3x5 making is is 3pl8.

Nice work though, you will make it in 2018.

fuark bro what's your cycle?

>tfw I can 5x5 3pl8

180 kg? Can't do it on caloric deficit, ffs

140 kg

180 is 4pl8 my dude.

I thought 1pl8 was 30 kg

3 months in and deadlifting 2.5pl8. Hoping to be doing 3pl8 by end of january-mid february

The bar is considereded 1 plates

That's 60 my g

light as fuck. you better be a skeleton or 1 month into lifting otherwise that isnt impressive. you have not "made it"

I have been lifting for a year

That's 2.25 pl8
It's not impressive, but you surely put in some work and you are stronger than average adult male. GJ bro, keep liftan

The fuck breh? Have you been cutting the whole time or what?

What, are you serious? thats was my starting weight and i did 3x12 with it. You have made it when you start lifting more than 250kgs with perfect form.

that is incredibly sad and not normal. i didn't realize someone could fuck up as badly as you have

20+20+20 = 60kg
40+20+40 = 100kg
60+20+60 = 140kg

I love you guys

I am satisfied with my progress so far

I still have a video of myself failing pulling 50 kg properly off the floor

Femanon, you should be able to rep out 120 after a year. Did you fall for the SS meme of
>one set of deadlift?

>242 lb dead lift
>making it
nigger most 9th grade football players can do that, jfc, you need to be able to deadlift at least 3 pl8's before you even think about "making it"

Pffft, I started with 400 kg for 10x20. Anything less is soyboy tier.

>he counts the bar

...

>The bar is considereded 1 plates

This has to be the most retarded thread I've seen in a while. This is the only math we ever do, and you still suck at it

1pl8 = 60kg (20kg bar + (1x 20kg x2)
2pl8 = 100 kg (20kg bar + (2x 20kg x2)
3pl8 = 140 kg (20kg bar + (3x 20kg x2)
4pl8 = 180 kg (20kg bar + (4x 20kg x2)

4pl8 3x5 is making it
>but.. user.. relative strength.. im only weighing 70kgs
Relative strength is the worst meme ever. If your a grown non-manlet adult male you should be well above 80kgs. On the other hand, if your fat you have not made it, no matter how much you DL.

>110kg

kek. i literally saw a girl deadlifting that 5x5 last night.

not op but is 3x5 is for strenght gains? i know nothing about this

>not op but is 3x5 is for strenght gains? i know nothing about this

yes and please read sticky

>not op but is 3x5 is for strenght gains? i know nothing about this

1-6 reps is for strength
8-12 for size
7 does absolutely nothing, so I recommend it for your rest days

>you live at home
Wow, sure got me with that one.

lmao I deadlifted 120Kg after 4 weeks of starting the gym.
now 220Kg at the same bodyweight.

fucking peasants

Dont get mad soyboy, even girls are stronger than you

Progress at the gym for the first 2 months is almost exclusively based on DHT based central nervous system gains.

It says absolutely nothing about your ability to actually grow muscles long term.

>i thought 1pl8 was 30kg

are you actually anemic ?

stop posting that, some people might actually think that this is real

>trying to increase diddly on a calorie deficit
Found yr problem, that was easy

you shouldn't be satisfied. you should be fucking embarrassed. if you're satisfied with the fact that it took you a year to deadlift with what some people start out with then you're a lost cause

>I still have a video of myself failing pulling 50 kg properly off the floor
DELET THIS

By no means dissing your gains bro, good work, just keep going and don't be afraid to eat more, you'll look good if the weights are increasing

>80+20+80 = 180kg

nice math retard. 80+20+80=160kg

A-user I....

I really hope you're just taking the piss.

> Have you been cutting the whole time or what?
Not him, but can I use this as the excuse for my shit lifts?
1/1.75/2.35/2.75 at 161 lbs. lifting for a bit over a year here.

...

You can use weighing 161 as an excuse. Eat, man!

Pic somewhat related, the kind of shit I cook all the time

this nigger...

Ahhh fuck you guys ill take as long as it needs...

Is that counting the bar?

Lol I did that the first time I literally deadlifted and I’m a dyel according to fit standards

It's 315 pounds, three 45lb plates on each side and a 45lb bar.
