What is the single best fitness decision you have made that improved your gains?
What is the single greatest non-fitness decision that improved the quality of your life?

Fasted cardio. I used to lift and eat like a beast. Since i started cardio i have abs, and obliques. Im literally in the shape of my life. I recommend fasted cardio and yohimbine, it took me to a different level.

Doing every compound lift outside of Deadlifts in a bodybuilding style 5 sets of 8-12 reps. Can't answer the other one.

>What is the single best fitness decision you have made that improved your gains?
Started alternating between volume and peaking blocks every other month

>What is the single greatest non-fitness decision that improved the quality of your life?
Switching from balding to shaved+beard

if you wanna look good don’t waste your time doing a strength routine with 3 sets of a bicep exercise and then becoming disappointed when your arms won’t grow

Should have hopped on fin, hairlet

>What is the single best fitness decision you have made that improved your gains?
cardio and high volume body weight. i've done martial arts most of my life, at my peak i was basically a god. could bench 150 kg for a few reps. had an 8 pack and pecs that could nearly fit into an A cup. had a few people as if i was on roids. Always more than proud to say no.
>What is the single greatest non-fitness decision that improved the quality of your life?
martial arts. if nothing else it is a fun environment and a good place to challenge yourself physically and mentally

I can attest to this. Feels amazing

Do something

>fasted cardio
Is it cardio without eating before?

>What is the single best fitness decision you have made that improved your gains?
Forcing myself to eat inhuman amounts of food
>What is the single greatest non-fitness decision that improved the quality of your life?
Kind of fitness related: Fixing my sleep

Great post my dude

Building a home gym

Stopping smoking weed and drinking every night and going cocoon mode and getting my BS.

Drinking water

Dropping every kind of drink outside of water, milk and occasional alcohol

1; Warming up plenty before lifts. You might get away without it at first, but once you start getting up there in weights you will fuck your shit up if you dont. Now i warmup at least for 15 minutes before doing any heavy lifting.

Started seeing my studies as a job instead of an education. Get up every morning at 8 and then study fr 8 hours. my grades have gone from a 3.4 to a 4.2 in a year (on a 5 grade scale) and i don't even have to cram study for the finals anymore i know everything weeks in advance. I feel like i have more time off now and i can take weekends off.

ughhh i hate running tho

fucking running so boring

do need to exercise my lungs i think tho

A. started using DMZ on the regular, eating grass fed beef

B. Realizing I will never have sex again and allowing my libido to evaporate because I never meet eligible women, and I am surrounded by pale, corpulent ladies at work.

>I don't care

Should you eat your normal amount of calories after the cardio or not?

Not OP but fuck off dude. I got a buddy who tried Fin and mino and everything under the sun and it still happened to him.

1) Count your fucking calories. Macros are important, but they're not nearly as important as calories.

2) Invest as much as possible while you're young. If your investments are making you more money than your debt, make the minimum debt payments. I'm sitting really comfy knowing I don't have to worry about shit financially.

Eating better and natural
Spending the extra money

How do I start investing?

This. Also where can i learn more without getting jewed out of the few shekels i can afford to invest.

The best fitness decision I made was to do a shit ton of volume, before doing 8 sets of 6-12 reps I was hardly making any gains and since doing high volume the gains have came on fast

Why do you type like a mongoloid

Stopped lifting heavy and now just do slow and controlled reps with good form focusing on the burn

>8 sets of 6-12 reps

Smoking weed in highschool.
It led me to start jogging every day which led me to lift. I don't smoke weed anymore though.

Fasting. Brought me down to 180lbs from 300, which gave me a great foundation to start building muscle onto. Easy after adapting to it, and saved me a fuckload of money that I got to spend on audio equipment for a music hobby I adopted during the boredom of not eating.

I've been trading stocks for 4 years. Started off with $24,000, turned it into $38,500

I recommend opening an account with TD Ameritrade if you want to trade stocks, they've been really good to me, never wronged me, even though they should've. They let me stay in a margin call for over a month before, and never forced me out of any position. They also give you a free trading platform (that works on Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris) called ThinkOrSwim.

I fucked up bad for the first 3 years, at one point I lost money until I only had $15,000. So the first 3 years were really rough.

I've never deposited or withdrew money from the account either, so all that is gain/loss from trades.

It took me basically that long to learn what I needed to know, I "paid tuition" you could say.

Take my advice, if you want to be a short-term trader, trade ONE stock. You can make money off a stock going down, it's called shorting. You want to make money off the stock going up AND down.

Professional short-term traders at hedge funds don't focus on many stocks, they are assigned ONE to THREE stocks, and they ONLY trade those names. You must pick a mid to large cap company with high average trading volume, I trade AMD.

Each stock has it's own unique personality, and way of moving. You have to become intimate with one stock, by watching it's daily price action everyday for months. Become a specialist in one stock.

This is for short-term trading, I also do long-term investing. That's a different story.

Stopped discounting all the diet advice given here, actually took the time to stop eating 90% carbs and get the protein I need to get bigger. Grew more in a week than I had in the previous 6 months lol

Do sl+gomad

You weren't protein deficient. You probably just started eating actual food.

Sleeping regularly and not overthinking it, too fat- eat less carbs: bread, etc. Want more muscle or really feeling like your muscles are struggling to repair/build themselves after woring out- eat more protien: meat, etc

Swapped regular deadlifts for weighted back extensions and lightweight stiff legs deadlifts. Swapped back squats for front squats.
Spine is thanking me and I can keep hitting the gym with lower risk of reinjuring myself.

Shaved my head instead of being balding.

thanks man, sounds like a good plan. ill try and get into this attitude as well

>buying my mid-life crisis mobile

>What is the single best fitness decision you have made that improved your gains?
Doing low-rep, high-weight for main lifts and hypertrophy rep range for assistance.
>What is the single greatest non-fitness decision that improved the quality of your life?
Going to the gym regularly. Besides the obvious health benefits and gains chasing it has become a sort of canary in the mineshaft for how my life is going. If I can't make time to go to the gym for a few hours a week something is fucked. If my lifts go down something is fucked. I'm stressed, not sleeping right, drinking too much, not budgeting time correctly, not eating right, etc.

I can tell exactly how well things are going for me in life on how my total looks.

Eating onions and drinking my own fermented semen

Listen to this guy. Vanguard has the best record for returns on their index funds, and index funds are what you should invest into. Don't try and time the market, just invest in the entire market which will always rise on the long run.

Pad your retirement with your own investment next to maxing out your employer match in a 401k.

I am in this boat. Elaborate please?

Opinion on coffee?

>Shaved my head instead of being balding.
Really makes that much of a difference?

that's what it sounds like to me

>Does a strength instead of size routine
>Gets disappointed when he gains strength instead of size

why the fuck wouldn't your arms grow when you curl for 3 sets you fucking retard???

You must be an underclassmen, only way your grades can fluctate that much in a year

>Each stock has it's own unique personality, and way of moving. You have to become intimate with one stock, by watching it's daily price action everyday for months. Become a specialist in one stock.
Kek, did this recently with OSI stocks and was shocked when they dropped from 85$ to 59$/stock because of corruption accusations. Luckily didn't put money in yet because of still trying to sort out my tax-free savings account.

For gains, steroids. For life, opening my own business.

unironically this
