Get a program and follow it.
Be it an online PPL, stronglifts, starting strength, pick one thing, and don't go off program for 3 months minimum.
And eat, you need to eat 2500 calories a day starting, minimum.
Download myfitnesspal and start tracking honestly, buy a food scales if you don't have one already.
After a while, you will start needing to eat more, since the increased muscle mass with require more energy. So keep calculating your TDEE, and add 500 calories to it.
You want to hit at least 150 g of protein at the start, lots of lean meat like chicken, plenty of fibre so you don't get the shits and nutritionally dense carbs like oats, potatoes and sour dough bread (the bets type of bread).
Try and eat clean, a dirty bulk will give you skin issues, same if you have a huge influx of dairy without eating much of it before.
The best beginner programs are ones you follow, and for Gods sake, track and eat.
