Apparently raw oats are fucking bad for you and limit nutrient absorption or some shit unless you soak them overnight with some lemon juice and then cook them. Also they say you dont even digest them completely if you eat them raw. I thought i had my breakfast finally figured out, eggs and raw oats with milk, but everything eventually becomes fucking poison or so it seems.

Half-cup of raw oatmeal in half-cup of unsweetened almond milk. If I want to get a bit fancier:

>splash of 1/4 cup of almond milk

I love using berries and bananas in oatmeal, but I tend to keep the serving sizes down, because of the sugar and oatmeal already has plenty of carbs. Of course, your needs are different.

guys i think i have to give up oatmeal because of digestive problems. i dont know what happened. i ate oatmeal every day in college. i started to try to make smoothies like you guys have (oats, milk, almonds, peanut butter, fruit, sometimes yogurt) to gain weight and while it helped to gain weight, it would give me terrible stomach issues. horrible gas right after drinking and nasty shits that would burn coming out and require 50 wipes to clean and literally rubbing soap and water with my finger on my asshole to clean it

now ive gone back to making oatmeal with just oats milk and peanut butter and it seems like while the horrible shits have stopped i still have bad gas all the time
