Guy enters gym

>guy enters gym
>starts his workout
>first exercise he does is bicep curls
are these people even for real, Veeky Forums?

you're mad because he's getting laid (probably) and you're not (definitely)

sorry i didn't choose deadlift
i will do better next time senpai

>what is a brosplit

another bunch of people i saw start with lat pulldowns or pullups. i guess thats fine.
but curls??

my curls are embarrassingly weak for my size.
i want them to progress

>>first exercise he does is bicep curls
and they look like they have never set foot in a gym in their lives

biceps respond well to heavy training, so he's probably smart and starts off with a heavy sets of curls before he get fatigued from other stuff

also this

always start with compounds
baka my head

standing ezbar curls are literally all you need

t. dyel

Pull-ups, lat pulldowns, different variations of rows, and deadlifts are all more than fine to start with.

its fine as long as its an heavy compound exercise.
fuck bicep isolations

I do bicep curls between every set. I can't seem to get them stronger and they never get sore. Help?

enjoy your tennis elbow tard

if you can do hundreds of curls and not make gains maybe (definitely) you're lifting low weight

man up and add 20 pounds to each dumbbell next session

There's a guy in my gym that shows up, curls, then benches and usually leaves. Every sunday

Biceps respond to heavy weight and slow, complete reps with squeeze at the top of the rep

Then what's a good routine faggot?

Compounds first, isolations last.

I mean a full routine. I have dumbbells and a bench at home but I don't really know what to do and end up just doing 3x10 of a few things.

literally this you can do compound exercises with DBs.
do rdls, rows, presses etc.
then do isolations like curls or tricep stuff

Good warmup for the ellbows.

>he’s at the gym to checkout what other ppl are doing
Kys

I usually start all my workouts on the bike to warm up/get cardio out of the way, then move to straight-arm lat pulldowns.

>guy enters gym
>he's pretty jacked and lean
>overhear him talking about his steroid cycle with his friend
>does some cable curls and crunches
>leaves

h-hah steroids barely even do anything amirite
