Cutting diet

Whats the best macros for a 2500cal cut?
Currently eating 320carbs, 200Protein and 50Fat.
Isnt my protein intake too high?

1.2 g protein per kg of lean mass (if lifting, 0.7 g if sedentary) + adequate kcals.

What’s my lean mass? Or rather, how do i calculate it?

so 200 is fucking too much. Only 2weeks in, im re evaluating my protein intake then

How much do you weigh?

i'm 185cm 89kg, and around19%bf

Well, I don't know where he got 1.2 per kg, but I eat 1.2 per lb when cutting, 1 gram per lb of carbs, and one gram of fat per half pound. So if I was you, I'd be eating 235 grams of protein. 196 grams of carbs and 39 grams of fat. Which would be about 2075 calories. 2500 definitely seems like too many calories to me.

Also, there is no such thing as too much protein, just too little carbs or too little fat.

2k a day seems very low, in every fucking website i got ~3k maintenance, if not more. What do you think

Idk. I guess it depends on how much you are burning throughout the day. Have you been losing weight at 2500? I always use the numbers I posted and it has always worked for me. I reliably lose 1 pound every week. I barely even weigh myself because I know it's working. What works for me might not work for you though. Don't get too worried if you haven't found what works for you after just two weeks. Just keep weighing yourself and tweak your intake as needed. Once you find the sweet spot it will be smooth sailing.

to be honest, after 2 weeks at 2500, i visibly got a 'little bit" leaner, but the scale is not moving. This is why i'm starting to be worried

You might want to cut back some.

What's your stats?

Cut down another 500 and reevaluate in a week.

>2500Kcal cut
>that's my lean bulk as a manlet
Kek, I'd reduce the carbs quite a bit, and 200 protein seems a little excessive.
Also, fuck off for reminding me she left porn.

So, if 2500 is too high, i'm cutting down for more 500.
What do you think about these macros:
2000kcal : 200g protein 175carbs 56g fats

>320carbs
Why not keto? Lots of benefits, faster cut, less catabolic

>keto
nice meme

320+200+50 doesn't add up to 2500 ?

carbs = 4kcal/g
protein = 4kcal/g
fat = 9kcal/g

>less catabolic
That's absolutely wrong though.

Bodyweight minus bodyweight times fat percentage

For example if you're 100kg and 25% bodyfat, you take 100 - 100 x 0,25 = 75kg lean
