Lately I've been thinking as what does it mean to be a man in 2018 with all these low t men we see these days. Am I the only one thinking about this? What makes someone a man? Looks and personality traits? I've been feeling a bit insecure about my own masculinity and what I can do about it. I just need some advice and motivation to feel more of a man
What does it mean to be a man?

Watch 'how to be a man' by Gavin Mcinnes, also check out his YT stuff that isn't politically related if you're not into that.

Define what morals you hold yourself to and what it is that matters to you. As long as everything you do is consistent with that core or derived from it, and you continually try to improve yourself, you are a man.
Ignore these faggots. These posts are coming from the projecting tardos who are such experts at giving advice to strangers while doing nothing for themselves. Just look into my eyes and see what it takes to be a man
>take advice from a degenerate who put a butt plug in his ass in front of a live audience
not even once desu
>Implying being a "Man" has to mean something in itself, aside from the basics of self respect for your own body, some level of integrity so that you can maintain any kind of interactions with other people, etc, which you should expect from anyone regardless of sex
Daddy clearly didn't raise you, stop trying to earn his approval.

Will answer all possible questions on contemporary/original masculinity and their differences as well as where we are headed as a race not only as men.
Donavan puts it quite well; what does it mean to be a good man and what does it mean to be good at being a man?
Also keep in mind he is a homosexual and not in a feminine way. The guy just loves masculinity to the point of sexual arousal. Keep this is mind as you read as you MAY find a level of bias. Personally I didn't but there were suspicious moments...
To be a man, you have to look like a man. Your face, height, and frame determine this.
Here is a picture of a man staring at a child holding a basketball.
ask yourself these questions at the end of every day
>did i make any money today?
>did i get any pussy?
if you answered yes to one or both you are doing good
>unironically uses desu

Archetypal-y, a man takes an idea and makes it real. In doing so, creates his Law, Techne, or Tribe. His effort is tested and shown true. if it fails, he doesnt cry about it. He accepts the risks of playing with Fire.
TL:DR version please?
I've got it but haven't read it yet
did gus even have a family?
Good points
Remember the art of manliness guy who uploaded these vids with rippetoe coaching him? His site is pretty legit, has some interesting articles on the subject.
My thoughts:
Courage and discipline to do what you know you need to do regardless of how you may feel, what others may think or what the consequences may be.
Making plans, setting goals and achieving them.
Self respect, love and trust.
Searching for truth in knowledge above all else.
Making a family for yourself and making them the most loved beings on this earth.
Strength in mind, body, emotion and spirit.
Empathy without pity.
Building and creating for something more than yourself.
Slaying dragon inwards and out. Dominating yourself first.
Always being true to yourself, your convictions, and always doing the right thing.
Working hard with consistency and vision instead of posting on image boards.
Goodnight.
It means having a penis and balls.
The real question should be what kind of man are you.
dude you are probably fucking miserable because you search your "male identity" from other people.
there is no such things as a "man" bro. there is just you. just be true to urself and fucking listen to yourself and your needs and aknowledge them and act upon them. you already got a dick so youre already male there is no social construct to it
there is no book out there that is going to teach you anything. if you are feeling that you need to do something or create something or achieve something THEN FUCKING do it, whatever it may be.
you dream about being a make-up-artist? then go to fucking town and become the greatest make-up-artist there ever was.
you want to write poetry? then you go all allan poe over that shit holmes
you want to be a police-officer? then fucking work for it.
you want to cry? then fucking sob
there is no instruction to being a man, you cant be anything else than you. just listen to yourself man and things will unfold
There's no such thing as a man of >current year.
To be a man is to be the eternal man. Masculinity doesn't change across time. It's not a fashion thing. To be a man is to receive the torch from your ancestors and keep the damn fire alive.
Hey, another Peterson fan.
This post is more accurate than this post I don't think you have to figure it all out from scratch.
hunting beasts of prey with swords
Be skillful in your trade, strong in your convictions, respect and understand your mind and body, provide and care for your family
Being a man is about doing what the fuck you want when you want
What determine wants?
so hes an mishima?
What ?
I have 2 friends the same age, 23 and a younger friend (19)
The first one grew up poor and decided to make life is bitch, took his moto license at 16, started learning how to repair cellphones and now works in a cellphone repair shop and has a side-business repairing phones that makes him more money, just bought his first car and his thinking of opening a store himself, lives with his parents, is saving a lot of money.
The second grew up middle class, works in the same cellphone repair shop and IQ wise is smarter than the first one, is now taking an audio engineer course while working, lives on his own, isn't saving much money tough.
The third grew up middle upper class, never had to worry about money, grew up in a single parent household (no father) and was financially comfortable his whole life, he is 19, had depression, and he wishes that he had grown up in less optimal conditions, so he's interviewing for jobs to earn his own money in college, he's going out of his comfort zone, he's facing his fears.
The third one to me is as manly if not more than the first two, because he grew up sheltered but he's smart so he identified the problem and is trying to fix is shit, if he wasn't a man he wouldn't do shit, he would just be comfortable.
Forgot to say the third one has crippling social anxiety and is a twig (although improving)
Holy fuck, these gains are straight up blasphemous
looks and personality
seriously dude, pop some letro. youll know how a man should act, you feel sleepy as shit and you have this weird caring attitude and you dont get cocky at all, plus you dont even grunt anymore, its very weird
Hello newfriend.

To be a man you need to have honor and a penis.
Brainlet detected.
Look only inward for answers.
>op takes advice, never uses google or a question mark again. Only makes statements. Becomes an even bigger autist than just a guy who asks a tibetan underwater basket weaving forum for advice on how to be a "man."
Please kys.
>Author is a litteral faggot. Tries to tell everyone else how to become a man.
I'm surprised there wasn't a chapter called "Want to go camping?"
Honestly though, if you dont read books and you aren't going to actually invest much time of energy looking into this subject this book is fine, but there are better. Every hero narrative is ultimately a story that attempts to flesh out an ideal of manhood.
Kek you look like the ex of a third party friend
Gus was a fag who's lover got killed by the cartel.
Took me awhile to figure this out but being a man is three things;
1. Doing what you say you will do.
2. Always taking responsibility for your actions and thoughts.
3. Taking care of your friends and family.
Read thus spoke Zarathustra, literally in the first chapter nietzsche says how to look inward for wisdom
