If you can squat 4pl8 can you jump off a 6 story building and land in a squat?

if you can squat 4pl8 can you jump off a 6 story building and land in a squat?

i mean i think the math works out

I don't see why not

>he doesnt squat 9 stories

legs would shatter nobody can do that shit

weak

Yea. If you are a pussy ass bitch.

Can you stick the landing if you squat over the building?

how do you know if you've never tried?

Depends on barometric pressure and humidity.

It probably drastically increases your chances of surviving or even avoiding more injury

How many pl8 before i can squat a six story building?

This desu

why does that even matter. more likely to die on a foggy day i guess

Velocity from a fall at that height is about 19 m/s. assuming you move your center of mass about 0.5m during a squat, you would need to complete the reverse squat in a little over 0.025 seconds to cancel out your velocity.

Can you 4pl8 squat in 0.025 seconds?

Can someone explain what each number and letter means in "4pl8?" Is the "pl" power-lift? What does the 4 mean? What does the 8 mean?

it would be 2pl8 unless you're a /fat/ fuck

Plate - pl eight - pl8
4 plates on each side of the bar

4 plates, 405 lbs

4 plate (pl8)

The bar being 20kg, and each plate being 20 kg. each side of the bar is loaded with 4 plates.

So a 1 pl8 Overhead press is 1 bar, and 2 plates. one for each side. for 60kg.

a 4pl8 squat is 1 bar, 4 plates on each side, for a total of 180 kg.

thank you

How much do I have to be able to lift to be able to neck myself with a power clean

I haven't actually calculated the weight, i expect that is off too. but even if it was 2 pl8, can you squat upwards twice as fast as usain bolt can sprint? (20 m/s squat vs 10 m/s sprint)

>405lbs
Metric is the only relevant system. 180kg, so more like 395lbs.

Depends on how fast you can squat

my fastest squat is 0.112 second

Let's see:
>80kg male
>Squats 180kg 0.5m (rough guess)
>Energy exerted (assuming he freefalls, which he wouldn't so this is an overexaggeration): 1019 joules
>Jumps 6 storeys = 18 m
>Energy at impact = 14112 joules
>Energy exerted jumping off building/Energy exerted squatting = ~14
If you do this your knees will turn to dust.

I don't know enough about it to give you a real answer but I'm basically sure you cannot.

My bodyweight squat velocity is 284 ms, how many stories can I jump?

t. soyboy

maybe you could, from a purely muscular point of view, but it's not efficient biomechanically, and your joints will be destroyed/damaged, on the tiniest mistake.
Compare it to breakfalling, parkour etc., where the momentum is redirected.
Otherwise, where do you think the momentum will go when you land in a squat?
That's right, it will go through your body, including any loose limbs where force can exit.
It might work 1 time, then you'll end up more crippled each time you do it. You'd need a hell of a lot of practice to even do it safely, compared to learning to breakfall, which works in almost every situation and benefits everyone

You forgot to account for the holes in the plates.

>6 storeys ~ 18m
>v^2 = u^2 + 2as
>u = 0, a = g = 9.81ms^-1, s = 18
>v^2(impact) = 36g
>a = (v^2 - u^2)/2s
>v = 0, u = sqrt(36g), s ~ 0.5m
>a = -36g = 353 ms^-2
>F = ma
>m ~ 90kg (as per rippletoad)
>F = 90 * 352 = 31.77 kN ~ 3289 kgF

obviously this is a highly inaccurate model since there are moments, muscular stiffness and damping (I presume). However, no, the maths does not work out.

Let's say a car drives at you with 30 km/h

You can squat 4pl8

If you kick just in the right time

Who wins

get a load of this twink, can't even squat a building

Only if you’re a manlet.

>counting the bar

A 200 lb man would need to be able to squat 8pl8.

So, no. Wouldn’t survive.

Except in real countries plates are 45lb plus a 45lb bar, so 4pl8 = 405 moon landing units

How fast does a boxer squat-duck, guarantee its faster than Usain Bolt runs champ.

user did the maths. Maybe

Cute plural
