Clean and floss my teeth regularly

>clean and floss my teeth regularly
>still get cavities

fuck everything

Stop eating sugar.
Get more calcium.
Clean them more often, maybe change toothpaste brand.

are you drinking a lot of acidic beverages?
also worth noting that exercise can make your mouth more alkaline and promote bacterial growth

I just returned from the dentist after my regular cleaning and will be back in exactly 1 hour to get two of my teeth filled

could it be that he is ripping me off?

what this user said.
use an electric toothbrush after every meal. and floss afterwards. it might be overkill for the average person but you have to make your gums used to the routine

depends. do you have fillings that need to be filled again? i have 4 and it is adviced that you go every 12 months to check / refill. the filling is composite.

same that must be refilled (what I am getting in a bit), some that are at an "advancing stage", but from my understanding they can stay at that stage by good cleaning

I hate my fucking teeth

>brush my teeth on average every other day lazily
>never floss
>Never had a single cavity
Sorry mate

FUCK YOU ASSHOLE

you probably sleep with your mouth open or maybe you take something that makes your mouth dry

>floss afterwards
floss before, or do you want food gunks stuck between your teeth so that the toothpaste won't get in there?

Sleeping with your mouth open causes cavities?
I don't really get this.

>he fell for the dental jew
Cavities and yellow teeth are attractive and alpha and also a sign of good health, don't pay shekelshtein your hard earned money for some meme dental work.

mouth dries out and becomes less hostile to bacteria

Wtf me too
Once a day, no probs at all

this was me until like 16 then i got 2 in a year and a half

Are you fucking retatded?

>Used to drink 3 sodas a day as a kid
>Mow down junk food like it was nothing
>Still don't don't watch what I eat
>Also half-ass brushing and flossing
>Still never had a cavity
My brothers ate less junk food than me, but still got them, guess I'm just lucky.

Some people are able to fight off the bacteria that cause cavities very efficiently, so they almost never get them. Count yourselves lucky.
Everyone else, stop being faggots, brush your teeth twice a day, floss at least once before bed, and use mouthwash. We'll be fine.

>no John, you are the retard

I take it back, user, you are exactly right. I'm a fucking idiot. Floss, brush, mouthwash. Duh. Time to stop drinking.

You'll almost always suffer form cavities later in life due to years of plaque and bacteria especially as your immune system weakens, more so if you eat like shit.

Anyway stop snacking faggots it's the worst thing you do to your teeth right next to drinking soda or acidic drinks, and stop it with the 2+ meals a day, chew gum, brush your teeth after a quarter to half an hour after you eat, and brush them before you sleep.

Source on this porno?

i have shit teeth too mate

i recommend fluoride mouth waste after flossing

fix your diet. remineralize your shit

Please tell me there is more and they fuck

>Still never had a cavity
>he doesn't know that when the teeth start hurting it's already too late and you most likely will have to get a root canal
ayy lmao

looks like redmoa

i didnt brush for 3 years (i know disgusting) and i never got a cavity. lucky i guess.

shoulda done SS faggot

The models were made by SKuddbutt, high chance someone has made porn using them.

Stop eating carbohydrates. I used to get cavities all the time, but when I got on keto my mouth just physicaly felt a lot better and I could go without brushing for days without bad breath

Gf does the opposite of this and has whiter teeth and never has cavities

Oy vey

>want to brush teeth
>rinse mouth with cold water
>teeth suddenly hurt like fuck

Is it normal to get some plaque build up or am I just shit at cleaning my teeth?

I get them cleaned every 6 months by a hygienist

...

do you drink sugary drinks? Personally I have never had cavities and I am an old man.

>flossing
this is a meme, i have never flossed, zero cavities

Same with me, except i brush once a day at night, never flossed ever, just take a mint gum in the morning. Drink 2-3 monster energy drinks, original green, every day, eat all kinds of sweets and never had any problems, go to regular checkup every 12 months. Feelsgoodman.

no I don't

just returned from the dentist, filled two teeth

took two vaccine shots and it wasn't enough
then he used some other "local" shot, literally stabbing my teeth from all sides several times

t-thanks

how am I supposed to eat 2.8k cals throughout the day without 'snacks'?

tfw rarely ever have fizzy drinks, almost never eat sweets.

>loads of fillings and a root canal
JUST

>not oil pulling
ishigy

I haven't brushed my teeth in literally 10 years. I mean, sometimes (no more than once a week, if that) I'll beat them with nothing but water and a toothbrush, but that's it. No cavities, ever, and dentists are always surprised by how much enamel I have and that my teeth are not even yellow, they just don't look artificially white. Diet is rich in garlic and virtually no sugar, nor coffee.

Does that really work on getting rid of/preventing cavities?Coconut oil only?

Can you just ignore cavities, I had an appointment to get one out like three days ago that I forgot about and haven't rebooked it yet. I'm kind of waiting till it starts hurting like a retard.

>rich in garlic
You eat that shit raw?You put it in every food u eat?You make sauces out of it?
Teach me the garlic ways to keep my teeth healthy.

What the fuck are you talking about? Is this bait? Bacteria thrives in moist warm conditions

Im coming to realise how fucking autistic this board is by the second

>want to consume milk/diary for the calcium
>it worsens my face acne

The faggots who never dealt with neither of those have literally won the genetic lottery.

there isn't any research done on it, in my anecdotal evidence it works, me grandpa and couple more ppl I know. I for one had huge trouble with teeth even tho I didn't eat sugary stuff and never drank sodas, I must have3-4 teeth without nerves and a ton more filling. I had a scan done and it looked like I had 2 more cavities growing but I had to go away for 2 months so I postponed it. Started oil pulling in the meantime and by the time I came back and I scanned again the 2 growing cavities had resolved themselves. + it removed my cold sensitivity in 1 tooth and my breath is always fresh now. Try it and see for yourself, nothing bad that can happen

Step 1. Be white

Nice /pol/ meme.I fucking am white.

Saliva has antibacterial properties so the drier your mouth the better for bacteria

poor teeth genetics bro, never gonna make it.

It's my understanding that it's mostly genetics (mouth environment that supports) and the makeup of the bacteria in your mouth that determines your dental health. So some people can never really brush or floss and be okay, while others do, and still get cavities.Just remember, it'd be worse if you flossed or brushed less.

Always had fairly good hygiene, my sister was a dental nurse. But I have had two root canals -worst pain of my life - and plenty of fillings costing ££££.

A lot of it is just genetic luck, but if you feel a slight pain just get it sorted right away. I still have to pay £700 in a few months for a crown

Same.
Diet>>>>>>>>>>>>>teeth cleaning

>brush my teeth on average every other day lazily

I don't know about your teeth, but your breath must be disgusting.

The only time my teeth get brushed/cleaned is at the dentist every 6 months. Never had a cavity.

pls

>only brush my teeth once a day in the evening, maybe twice if I have something to do in the morning
>never had a cavity

What's everyone's opinion on waterpiks?

I use it, not bad I guess especially if you go ham on your gums and teeth but if you guys want to avoid cavities, the ABSOLUTE BEST THING YOU CAN DO....

Is rinse your mouth with water after eating ANYTHING. I shit you not this is so simple but people never do it. You drink some orange juice? Rinse your mouth. You eat some peanuts? Rinse your mouth? You drink some water? STILL RINSE YOUR MOUTH.

I drink water all day and periodically I'll just do a swish and then drink it. So simple and my teeth stay good.

>brother is same, brushes less
>i brush twice daily and more or less floss daily
>finally go to dentist after 10 years (terrible parent)
>"bro you floss and brush so well, 10 years without a dentish visit and only one cavity"
>he laughs loudly so the whole office can hear him
>my turn. 15 cavitys, half were redos from youth.
>fucking one filling falls out a few months later
>gfdi newbie dentist

>Never floss, brush once a day
>Dentist told me I brush too hard and too often

>10 years without a dentish visit and only one cavity
>this is considered impressive to dentists
My dad didn't go to a dentist for 40 years and never had a single problem. Frauds the lot of them.

>brushing with rather rigid synthetic fibers over tooth and gums twice a day, ultimately causing aggrivation (tons of people brush way too hard)
>on top of that introduce rather harsh chemicals and antibacterial compounds that completely disrupt the natural balance in the mouth flora (my guess is that this makes it even easier for the unwanted bacteria to take hold in your mouth)
>on top of that use other rather harsh "antibacterial" mouthwashes and gum, teeth whitening strips.
>make this a twice daily ritual for your entire life

hmmmmmm........

Cavities can be prevented by brushing before bed, nighttime is when the most damage is done by allowing food to sit on your teeth for 8 hours, basically just rotting/decomposing

What kind of oil do you use? Please share your secrets :3

why is this good?

>Water rinses out looses food particles that otherwise would remain on teeth or get caught on gums
>sugar residues are the main culprit in feeding the bacteria that causes cavities, etc. and it'll get washed out with water too
>doesn't upset natural bacteria balance in mouth

Im just guessing.

olive or coconut. I've heard alot of people saying wheatgrass is really good for teeth

I've always done this habitually, and not only does it leave my mouth always clean of any bad tastes, I've literally never gone to the dentist for anything but a routine check-up. Not a cavity, nothing. Also, I haven't brushed my teeth for half of my life.

I haven't cleaned my teeth in 5 years ane all I have is mild yellowing with 0 cavities/gum infections.

Enjoy gum recession

Post gf teeth.

I spent £10 on a whitening toothpaste and now my teeth are just a florescent yellow.

>brush teeth maximum once a day
>never floss
>never had a cavity

>RINSE YOUR MOUTH.
...
It's hilariously simple.
I remember rising my mouth, but I guess I wasn't doing it often enough.
I have shitload of fillings, Jesus.
