When I first started, my rest were 1 min between sets, eventually I felt that if I were to rest less, I'm unable to complete the set. Plus in the SS book it stated to rest as long as needed for work set.

Another thing, asking from a novice perspective, how is it conditioning when I'm breathing normally after a few short minutes yet if I were to continue immediately, I'm unable to push out of the hole in the last rep (in squats as an example). This is why even through my experience I tend to rest longer but yes its between 5-7 minutes actually.

I don't know man, I just hate missing reps in sets so I tend to rest longer. But the things why I change to 4 day TM (yes I know if you can progress weights workout to workout is more superior than weekly etc)

atp is pretty much all (well over 90%) back by 3 min, i use a dollar store kitchen timer of 4 minute intervals to get in the set, change weights, and rest, before starting another set at 4 minutes

Lay it off for a week and get sleep instead and you will feel great - then use it when your REALLY need it and you will feel like a god for that session.

No, I'm very aware of my caffeine intake. Only 160mg every squat session, so that's 2-3 times a week.
