first you need to remove the outer membrane. long slice down longways, then peel it off. next poster can help you from there

Very Carefully.

Some form of heat, typically.

- Pan on ( Med - Med/High )
- Butterfly
- Season
- Tbsp Olive oil in pan
- Cook
- Enjoy

-

Right. After that outer membrane is gone you will want to tenderize it well with a meat mallet

do you know what it means to butterfly meat like in this post op?

-wrap the chicken in foil
-preheat oven to 180C/350f
-when the oven is heated put the chicken in it for 20-30 minutes

I'm assuming you're asking for basic cookery information rather than a specific recipe.

Foreman grill is the Veeky Forums way

I heard marinating it in brine makes chicken breast less dry and tasteless.

>boil water
>put in
>cover with lid
>come back in 50 minutes
wa la!

put oven to 2000°
put chicken in zip loc bag
cook over night
salt to taste

Easy bake oven. Its like fucking magic.

This.
>not having a giant barbecue pit next to your outdoor squat rack and bench
>ever making it

Microwave for 10 minutes is good enough. Salt and pepper if you want.

how do you virgins not know how to prepare chicken? Back in the day if you didn't know how to cook your own food you literally died.

cut into chicken nugget sized bits
throw in pan with olive oil on medium-high heat
add salt
add pepper
add oregano
add chili flakes
add balsamic vinegar
cook until done
serve with rotini

done in 20 minutes. tastes pretty good. easy.

Sous vide a bunch of them early in the week, then throw em into a pan
done in less than 10 mins per day, perfectly done every time

How do you recook chicken properly? Like for meal prep shit?

Microwave

try to cook it, fail, dice it up, cook it until it's good

Doesn't that shit make it dry though?
Same with the rice.
Don't know how people do it properly.

>cooking with olive oil ever

I sure hope you don't have a working smoke detector bub

This. Super easy. I can’t even make scrambled eggs right but I can manage this.

>being so bad at cooking you somehow set off the smoke alarm with olive oil
you’re either baiting or a complete fucking retard

>burning olive oil
you can substitute butter or lard while you're getting started, but it won't have that fine Italian flavor

Are you an idiot? If smoke ever comes out of cooking oil you are burning it, it's not supposed to do that, either decrease the heat or you take too much time with the oil without cooking anything, just getting heat

>boiled chicken

That sounds like hell

It's great if you wanna make a chicken soup, great when you are sick. Other than that, it's a shitty choice

Had boiled chicken in a chicken burrito from some place once.
Was watery as fuck.

is it true if I brine my chicken with msg it will taste like chicken I eat when I go out?

for some reason my version of home cooked chicken no matter how many different seasonings I try or different methods, it doesn't taste the same

it tastes gamey I don't know how to describe it. (which I know isn't even a real thing for chicken)

4 parts salt
2 parts pepper
1 part onion powder
1 part garlic powder
Red pepper to taste
Mix that shit together and that's your seasoning.
Heat up a pan with oil, put that seasoning on a raw piece of chicken, and place it seasoned side down.
Flip after it's golden brown
It's done when you cut into the thickest part and see no pink
Godspeed OP

Why was it watery?

I usually do it like

>always cut long ways
>always tenderize
>sometimes marinade
>grill outside
>pan cook
>tinfoil in oven

Marinade is always dank though. Nice and joocy niggie

Fuck me, I meant to respond to OP

>cut outer membrane
>get a pan for stove top
>vegetable oil the pan up
>put on pan
>season chicken while cooking
>cook till chicken center is 180 degrees Fahrenheit (82 degrees Celsius)

Easy as shit OP

>put pan on stove
>turn stove on
>put chicken in pan
>take chicken out of pan

if your feeling a bit creative
>put salt and pepper on chicken

Probably just tossed it on the burrito without letting it dry whatsoever.

I put foil on a cooking tray, poor down some olive oil, rub chicken breasts in it, season, throw in the oven for 30 minutes at 400 F. I make 6 at a time and it's the most efficient way I've found. Easiest food prep for the week. Between that and steaming veggies and rice, cooking is easy.

> 420 degrees should go in the oven
> Get the chicken all over the rub or oil youre using
> Wrap foil around chicken
> Put the pan under the chicken
> Place oven around the pan
> Wait 30 minutes after setting a timer
> take oven away from pan
> Eat

It's pretty simple bro

Not to mention that you're literally lessening the nutrient value of the chicken breast when boiled.

Just eat it raw, salmonella only is a threat to a soyboy immune system.

>put salt and pepper on chicken

Who am I, Chef Ramsay?

youtu.be/9HFDW0x10-Q

This but cleaner.

I usually coat in pepper & sear both sides in a pan on the stove top then pop it in the oven for 15-20 minutes, flipping it over halfway.

this. so easy so simple.

I don't use foil, am I doing it wrong?
Taste fine to me.

I have a construction hammer, will that do?

Heat til hot

Not at first, but after a quick google it seems easy enough to do

Cook at high temps for shorter duration to make it more moist. Get a good seasoning.

>Chop into 1 inch cubes
>Dice 2 cooking onions and throw in a tablespoon of minced garlic
>Put in a deep pan or medium size pot medium height with 2 tablespoons of butter
>Cook until chicken isn't pink
>Add 2 Tablespoons of curry powder
>Add a can of coconut milk
>Add a can of diced tomatoes
>Turn up the heat until simmering and turn down to medium low
>Add 2 tablespoons of butter
>Add salt and black pepper until its seasoned to your liking (taste it to figure that out)
>Let it simmer uncovered - scrape the bottom occasionally to prevent any kind of burning
>Make a pot of rice to go with it
>When the pot of rice is done, the curry will have thickened up enough
>Simmer longer for a thicker curry

You don't. Just eat it like that. Been doing this for a bit an its been proving efficient.

Thanks mates, I really appreciate it. Follow up question- does it really matter what kind of breast I get? I know 'free range' doesn't matter too much, but I don't wanna be ingesting any evil government spray. What should I be looking for?

>having a shitty, small kitchen

Is it hard being too poor to afford proper ventilation?

>Throw it out
>order a large pepperoni pizza

>putting the oregano on the chicken instead of the rotini

What kind of disgusting country do you come from?

>not coating your chicken with protein powder

are you faggots even trying to make it?

Try cumming on your chicken; you’ve probably offended all the waiters in your life and they’ve given you a special sauce ever since

Cover it in olive oil, salt and pepper and put it in the oven for like 25 mins.

>He doesn't slow cook for 46 days and nights
