I have officially joined the benching in the power rack master race.

Pin Press feel good, man.

Saw a dude benching 300lb in the rack today. Very impressive. He was taking like ten minute breaks between sets.

nice man, I ohp in the rack everytime cause there's no space to do anything with a barbell anywhere else in my little gym

What's the rope thing do?

Does anyone else here deadlift in the powerrack?

I just got back from doing my whole lifting routine in the rack.
Bench, incline bench, deadlift, and chins

If I'm benching alone where the hell else am I going to do it?

If I can't find a spotter to rely on I'm not going to risk decapitating myself.

>risk decapitating myself
>he doesn't know about the roll of shame

the "roll of shame", as you put it isnt applicable to all situations.

never fucked up your grip half way up on the a hard final rep?

I'll keep benching with my pins.

>you only ever fail a rep over your chest
>arms never give out when the bar passes over your neck or face

>fucking up grip on bench press
t. manlet hands

fuck yeah

it's for strangling gains goblins

Dumping the weight is much safer and easier to do even with high weights (3pl8+)
Never bench with clips

It's for when you've finally had enough.

Deleet

And?

>benching in the curl rack

don't do this to me, this is me in a nutshell

>rolling 300 lbs over your body

>safety bars up one
>cant lower weight to chest
>safety bars down one
>cant go to failure

you can adjust the height of the bench you fucking mongoloid by a quarter or half inch?

just collapse your arch. also training to failure is retarded

benching without a spoter/saftey rack gives you more of a sense of danger especially at higher weighs which means more adrenaline and psychological power to boost your gains. pussies.

>choosing to potentially hurt yourself or be in a really uncomfortable position when the perfectly safe option of benching in a rack exists
