I wanna get into some type of fighting. But I have absolutely no idea about anything, the closest experience I have is when I did fencing for a couple of months when I was a kid. As someone who's a complete novice, what should I do? Karate? Muay Thai? MMA? Other?
I don't want to compete or anything, it would just be an extra physical hobby for me. What would be best to help me with weight loss? As someone who's fat, is there any particular fighting style I should or should not do? Which one impresses girls the most? How do I not end up like the guy in vid related?
Charles Peterson
this boy is such a fag you can see it when he walks no heterosexual male can walk like that
Jose Cooper
No gay man would put up that pathetic a fight with a hottie sitting on his face
Jaxon Cruz
I remember when I did bjj, I was never good but dyels and girls didn't have the strength to ever submit me.
Adam Jones
>didnt shove his face in the vegana instead turned it away hes a gay confirmed
Samuel White
>Not getting dominated by a Veeky Forums girl. I don't want to live anymore.
Jason Murphy
...
Julian Harris
lmao his boner at the end
Nicholas Murphy
Kek this reminded me of when I was training combat sambo and I would throw the belt wearing dyels around like a ragdoll after a week of training. Too mad i could only keep it for about 40 seconds before I had to rest or get dominated instead.
Muscles require energy. Use techniqe if you know it will be a long fight
Jaxon Morris
Saved, thanks man
Luis Nelson
Please tell me this video goes on to show him forcibly removing her panties and putting his unprotected penis inside of her vagina.
Hunter Nelson
>implying you wouldn't want to end up like the guy in the video
Jace Thompson
>webm lmao how can we even compete
Easton Sanders
Whatever you do don't fall for the fucking (((KRAV MAGA))) meme.
Brandon Foster
Krav Maga, anything but Z tier. If you don't have solid foundation in another relevant martial art/combat sport with contact, KM is useless as fuck.
Jeremiah Carter
not bad, but I would bump kickboxing up and bjj down. bjj is near useless in a self defense situation, grappling is just too dangerous if you can get stabbed.
Easton Allen
is this porn
Luis Miller
maybe they generally enjoy the smell of poo particles, it brings them to happier memories
Jayden Flores
bjj against a layman will virtually always win unless they have a gun. you can disable someones arm before they can even pull out their knife
Angel Fisher
>combat sambo Very interesting. Nothing has proven to beat the Shaolin monks though. I've been searching for something else for years now. Krav maga? Nope.
Michael Robinson
Learn how to throw basic blows then just spar. Practicing a martial art will never make you as good as someone who just sparred because they gained real experience.
Ryder Kelly
Do kickboxing. Can't get more basic than that.
Brandon Williams
If you win you just beat up a girl If you lose you got beat by a girl I've seen a few of those webms, like the girl in the living room that chokes out the dude and it makes me cringe I'd never volunteer to grapple with a female
Also OP just go to a bar 30 minutes before close and step on any guys shoe
Lincoln Williams
But what's the martial art I should learn if I want to cripple opponents that don't know how to fight as quickly as possible? Maybe disarm those with knives.
Hunter Anderson
Fucking this. When i was training judo no one could submit me and I could throw them hard but I get winded super fast and have no technique
Benjamin Morris
Wrestling should be bumped up to S tier or A at least. You will never hit harder than the ground, learn a mean take down and just spike your opponent. Rinse and repeat till they are unconscious.
Chase Sanders
kickboxing i've found has the hardest conditioning (I haven't tried muay thai so that could be worse) boxing is just great and more practical if ever you need to knock someone out. BJJ is great as you don't get hit and get a huge sweat/workout from it... not to mention amazing flexibility which can help increase your form in the gym and comfort for everyday life.
Personally I'd go kickboxing cos the training is insane and I love kicking bags until I spew. But its up to you man pick one and make sure you like it then stick with it bro.
Evan Cox
I remember doing bjj for a few months and I would love it when girls would wrap their legs and thighs around my face. Fuck I remember how soft this one thicc girl was.
Charles Rodriguez
Done muay Thai, bjj, kickboxing, and boxing. Boxing by far the toughest. The range is the shortest and punches land faster than you can see them. Really draining.
Carson Wilson
if you think that, you have never seen a stabbing
Eli Harris
Don't know why you'd want to cripple people, but boxing for even a few months can allow you to knock someone out cold instantly. If you want to breaks arms and choke people out BJJ is what I'd go for, but it's terrible for anything other than 1v1s.
Noah Murphy
This is what every BJJ practitioner who has never actually had to defend themselves in the street actually believe.
Let me know how that American you're about to break the guys arms with works out after you've tackled him to the ground, all of your attention is on keeping your hips down and his arm locked, and with his free hand he's fucking gutting you. You don't need to wind up a knife stab to literally gut someone like a pig; you need enough room to slip a knife horizontally against your stomach and then to turn your wrist, and that's it.
If you don't believe me, give a total laymen a dry erase marker and then tell them to try to mark you as much as possible before you can disable their arm. The marks represent cuts/stabs/slices from a knife. You will be covered all over your hands and arms well before you actually get them immobilized, unless you're giving the marker to someone. You will still wrestle them down, obviously, but recognize that if that were an actual knife, you'd be missing fingers and/or have important arteries/ligaments in the wrist destroyed, meaning you wouldn't actually be able to grapple anyone.
You BJJ fans can be absolutely fucking brain dead, I swear.
Lucas Wood
Actually you would do judo or greco-roman wrestling. Judo puts people on the ground and has enough ground game to help plus it also isn't fucking stupid enough t think that the fight will STAY on the ground and teaches you to get up. Wrestling is just beast mode for take downs and ground game. BJJ is good, but it's limited.
Henry Reed
This. Martial arts are meme tier when it comes to self defence outside of highschool. Guns and knives reign supreme over BJJ or Maui Thai faggotry.
Juan Wright
Attack the arm holding the knife hurr durr. Your counter point used the scenario of the defender grabbing the nonweapon arm. If a grappler does that they deserve to be gutted for being an absolute retard.
This, drop them, let them up, drop them again. Nothing you can throw will hit harder than the ground.
Austin Williams
yeah also forgot to mention it depends on the gym/trainer you get too. I found kickboxing hardest in terms of fitness for me because kicking and lifting your legs multiple times is fucking draining to your core.
As for difficulty when it comes to the actual game... I'd say boxing is one of the most technical sports on the planet. miles ahead of mma.
Anthony Long
Obviously if someone already has a knife out the best decision is just to back down and run, but if you've already gotten someone in rear control there is no way they can pull out their knife. If there is no option to run, and your opponent has already drawn a weapon, you should target that and get rid of it first.
You act like these aren't things we consider, and train against. No worthwhile BJJ student is going to get low and target hips if a knife is in play, and since getting low is usually reserved for combatting other grapplers, it's much more likely that they would perform a standing rear choke against another standing opponent.
Carter Anderson
Actually, getting stabbed and mugged is what made me start doing BJJ.
Dylan Thompson
Then you fucked up. Next time you'll be stabbed to death. Keep on your feet and put distance between you and someone with a knife. You're not a fucking navy seal or a superhero. Hell navy seals wouldn't walk into a confrontation with an armed individual without having something in their hands.
Gavin Rogers
you can do anything you set your mind to, user. you just have to look for one
Grayson King
I did some boxing in conjunction with the BJJ and I feel pretty confident against most physical threats. With the way I got mugged, I know the I could have gotten away if I knew BJJ.
>be me, 15 >riding bike to grocery store on sidewalk >from bushes a couple of cholos hop out and kick me and my bike over >on the ground (could have kept them at bay until I was able to get up, had I known BJJ) >tell me to take off my jacket and shoes >do it slowly to try and buy myself some time >get stabbed in the side and have face kicked in >takes my shoes and bike and runs away
There's no way I would have beaten them, but I'm positive I could have defended myself long enough to get away if I knew BJJ, and if something like it happens again, I know I'll end up way better.
Noah Lopez
That vid was actually porn bro.
Tyler Rodriguez
I'm sorry bro. But no you couldn't. BJJ is not suited for actual life or death confrontations with two or more people. It's for brawling with other BJJ guys or untrained individuals. It doesn't even think about multiple attackers or how to get on your feet or defend yourself on the ground from real threats.
Take up Judo. Yeah Judo doesn't concern itself with ground game as much as the derivitive BJJ, but it will give you the training that you would need that will help you defend yourself and get up.
Chase Stewart
>Miss the darce when her neck is that deep >Doesn't use his legs to escape north-south
Pathetic
Gabriel Hill
You do realize it's a porn, right?
Lucas Butler

Bentley Evans
Kickboxing should be split into dutch and american kickboxing. American kickboxing is a meme art unless you're literally world champion tier.
Jack Russell
Wrestling+Boxing and you're fucking unbeatable honestly. Beat them a little bit then crack their head on the pavement
Robert Myers
>I'm sorry bro. But no you couldn't.
Dude shut the fuck up, you don't know me or what I'm capable of doing. I never did sport BJJ, and my lessons were entirely centered around self-defense. I already said I wouldn't beat them, and that I know I'd survive. Have you ever tried to pass the ground guard of someone who knows Jiu Jitsu without knowing it yourself? It's fucking impossible moving rapidly on your back is a key feature of BJJ. If nothing else, it's an escape art.
Hunter Bailey
> What would be best to help me with weight loss? As a general rule any combat sport requires a huge amount of cardio. You need to be able to stay focused, explode with your strikes, sustain a frenetic fight pace, grappling and jockeying for position, and be able to move out of your opponent's optimum striking distance/angle and into your own optimal striking distance/angle and that takes cardio. You can't just sit there and practice your striking and grappling, you need to do the cardio and roadwork side of combat sports.
>As someone who's fat, is there any particular fighting style I should or should not do? You ain't no outfighter that uses his legs to stay mobile and strafing his opponents with long shots. You a fatty; your style should be an inside game where you can use your weight to bully your opponent and be in range to fire off your own shots.
>Which one impresses girls the most? Girls like eye catching shots. Everyone can appreciate the clean shot that knocks a guy down or an upper that jacks their head. Strikes are simple to understand. No one likes to see two dudes grinding like their in love on the ground.
>How do I not end up like the guy in vid related? I dunno, if you're fighting a girl its a lose-lose situation.
