/egg/ general thread

I boil them because it's easy and takes like 30 seconds to eat each one.

I can't stand the taste of fried eggs or scrambled though, maybe I'm cooking them wrong? It's like eating rubber or something.

Also, how many eggs do you eat per day?

>maybe I'm cooking them wrong?
lower the heat and add plenty of butter or olive oil.
and of course salt and pepper

>add plenty of butter or olive oil.
kek

If its rubbery it means that you overcook it. Does it also have some kind of bad aftertaste to it?

Scrambled you have to pull it off the heat when it is nearly done, as egg cooks at something like 45 degrees Celsius and continues to cook once you bring it off the heat.

I eat 5-12 eggs daily, for years. 5 for breakfast and some days some in the evening, boiled or scrambled.

>tfw totally decent cholesterol levels, checked every 2 yrs

What's funny about that?

>implying eating eggs at meals
>not snacking on pocket eggs throughout the day
honestly the normies on this board drive me mental

>>not snacking on pocket eggs throughout the day
Yeah great way to keep your cortisol elevated throughout the day insuring suppressed testosterone.

drink them raw here. 3 or 4 a day for about 3 years.

why use butter and oil?

Ever heard of flavour?

Watch gordon ramsays video on scrambled eggs on jewtube
Hatem em before because always had overcooked shit eggs

Cortisol =/= cholesterol???

>Being untroubled during troubling times due to pocket eggs

I eat 4 eggs a day, i used to boil them but the taste and texture started getting soul crushing so i started frying them instead. Over-medium eggs with a bit of salt and pepper remains my favorite breakfast

3 for breakfast fried. 3 hard boiled later in the day.

>Over-medium eggs with a bit of salt and pepper remains my favorite breakfast
Mah man.

whenever I make hard-boiled eggs I fail at peeling them.
what are your tricks?
>boil water with eggs in
>simmer for ~7m covered
>place in ice water
>store in fridge
time to eat
>smack & roll egg on counter to crack shell
>always lose valuable chunks of egg whites when peeling the shell
>take 10 minutes

Eggs contain plenty of fat and are tasty on their own. A sprinkle of salt and pepper is all you need. Just make sure the white has barely set and the yolk is completely runny. Pop that fucker in your mouth and enjoy.

just stop giving a fuck about peeling

cut them in half with your spoon or a knife, then scoop out the egg halves

presentation is worse, but it's tastier (yolk on the outside) and WAY faster

>simmer for ~7m covered
it's 15, ya cunt.

oh and use week old eggs. That's the key

Peel them while still hot under cold water

3 eggs per day.

I usually eat four per day but today I ate eight. Used to always boil them but recently I've been eating scrambled eggs.
No idea how some people enjoy fried eggs. You will take many bites with no yolk, which taste like shit. Scrambled eggs dissolve the yolk on everything making it all tasty.
If you are not putting butter at the start and cream cheese at the end you are missing out big time.

I consume six a day but I can't eat them all cooked I get so tired if them so I have two raw in my morning shake, two raw in my night shake and two hard boiled with muy lunch.

When I was a boy, I ate 4 dozen eggs a day to help me get large. Now that I'm grown, I eat 5 dozen eggs so I'm roughly the size of a barge. Pic related, it's me

He might just like soft boiled.

i take em any way. Poached is phenomenal but who the fuck has time for that

found a new delicious way to eat eggs. pan fry black beans, corn and onions in olive oil. crack in as many eggs as you want and scramble the fuck out of it. add spices.

love it

sous vide boiled eggs are top tier

Why are you not eating a batch of quail eggs a day?

>How many eggs do you eat per day?
Between 0 and 2.
