I recently started perferring the second one. I feel it gave more insight into Mr. Miyagi and developed his storyline in a really cool way with Sato. Also Daniel grows as a better fighter when he has to fight someone who actually wants to kill him (I still think it’s funny how the crane kick from the first is all but useless here, so Daniel has to try harder)
