I've been fixing my form for about a year now and it still doesn't feel right. Honestly I'm thinking of just giving up on deadlifts.

I thought a straight leg deadlift had slightly bent knees.

I seem to have some kind of problem in my back - can do 130kg for 5, but 140kg won't even budge because i feel like only my hips are moving upwards. It's like my back is trying to save itself and just giving up

It's changed a few times but it currently I diddle for 5x3 once a week on back day.
I tried switching to making deadlifts literally the first thing I do after a recovery day and it didn't help.
I'm not actually horribly concerned about it cause not a powerlifter .

tried deadlifting with this 5ft bar i have laying about no idea how much the bar weighs but i put all my plates on 4 x 20kg plates and 10 x 10kg plates so had 180kg in plates on the bar went up pretty easy
