i don't really care what crossfitters do desu. i moonlight at a clinic that's attached to an athletic club that does lots of crossfit-type classes. they never do anything really difficult, like snatches, cleans or jerks. just peculiar WODs. the worst is watching them all front squat, but they're paying money to be told that they're doing great by a trainer, so i don't really care. a couple of times a month they'll do classes on the classic lifts, which i've helped coach.

surprisingly, i don't see a ton of crossfit-related injuries. i mean, every sport or physical activity runs you the risk of developing some kind of repetitive injury. but i've never actually seen somebody "snap their shit up," as it were.

goes to each machine in a circuit. and drops the fucking weight/cables super loudly then goes to the next thing. hogs the squat rack DOING BENCH PRESS on the floor directly under it. all very very fast as he power walks to the next machine /workout. does a dead lift. then 20 pushups off the bar on the ground , repeat..

sometimes I won't even know he was using some machine cause he's across the gym somewhere and hell be like bro. I'm using that. I've told him several times no you aren't . you were across the gym doing lunge pushups or something.
