NOW should i just eliminate this shit completely? will i feel even better longterm and completely caffeine free?

I eliminated caffeine, felt more energetic, willful, better sleep, better workouts, squats stopped feeling like death, more and bigger erections.
Then I reintroduced it and it all went to shit.
Now I'm cutting it out again and I feel much better already.

In my case I think it's because I'm pretty anxious naturally, and caffeine was magnifying it a lot. So my sympathetic nervous system was constantly active, and that messes with recovery a lot.

I used to drink a lot of black coffee during all day.
I also qui cold turkey but I always end up drinking coffee again.

I'm giving up coffee for Lent but I only drink 3-4 cups per week anyway.

I used to drink shots in the dark (coffee, black, with a shot of expresso) i got a reality check when my blood pressure was too high to donate blood. I've been off coffee for
44 days now. I still ocasionally have caffineated green tea or coke.

I would get head aches for the first week, I motovated my self through not paying for coffee anymore. I notice my hands shaking later in the day when I am writing or handing somthing to people.
IMO caffine pills are akin to the crack of caffine so goodluck. Nothing is as strong as your will.

I went from drinking four cups of coffee a day to drinking zero. Never felt better. I'm a runner and my endurance shot up when I quit drinking coffee. I was sick overy the weekend and had a few cups to counteract the tired feeling and now I'm back to square one. Get ready for:

I've been using caffeine to ween me off of nicotine as I've found the effects to be similar but less intense and shorter lived. I drink like 3 pots of coffee a day, but I'm down from a can a day to a can every 2-3 days. Eventually I suppose that I will try and kick both, but for now caffeine seems to be the lesser of two evils.

AFAIK, the only thing consistently applied by athletes nutrition-wise is supplementation with glutamate (mainly to prevent illness)

Caffeine works better if you don't have a tolerance.

That's why (some) people in the military quit caffeine a while before deployment and then have caffeine gum for when they really need it.

If you're always on lots of caffeine it is just your new baseline and getting caught without handicaps you.

Confirming that withdrawals suck. I drank 1-2 cups a day and then went cold turkey. The first day I had headaches so bad I was lying in bed writhing in pain. Not even memeing. The next few days were absolutely fine. The only withdrawal symptom that persisted was constipation. I ended up going back to 1 cup/day because not shitting for 2 days made me look pregnant

I found coffee form of caffeine much easier on my system than pill form of caffeine. With that said, I now take one 100mg pill of caffeine in the AM and that's all the caffeine I consume per day. Much simpler this way.

In mice, human equivalent of about 1000-1500mg of caffeine increases lifespan about 50%

just cycle it, use it until you feel diminishing returns, take a break from it for a while, then go back on, it doesnt have to be black and white.

I currently work as a Barista as a part-time job with Uni, so I need to constantly be tasting espresso shots to make sure they're consistent. I probably have up to 800 mg to 1g of caffeine a day.

I also take pre and a fat burner, as well as drink green tea.

I have a buddy who's 160-170 pounds who is a cut as fuck probably has an eating disorder but he eats 400mg of pills every morning + a pot off coffee, and slams and energy drink or two during his shift as a construction worker and seems to be fine.

Personally I'm a bag of nerves so if I exceed 400mg a day I start getting weird side effects and driving becomes really hard due to anxiety

I don't touch caffeine at all. I've never liked coffee though so I guess it was an advantage. I pretty much gave up soft drinks overnight too because I just lost any desire to drink it. I just make sure I drink 4L of water a day and I know that way I won't really want any more fluids

If you want to get off caffeine, you don't have to go cold turkey and suffer diminished performance. Drink a cup of black tea once or twice a day, it alleviates withdrawal symptoms.

I drink one or two small cups of coffee in the morning, one at work and sometimes one more in the afternoon. I also drink about 4-5 cups of tea and 1 cup of cocoa water every day.

I used to have relatively bad diet and lifestyle, and I was tired and felt like shit if I didn't drink coffee. Then I fixed my diet and lifestyle (for example I don't overuse alcohol, I sleep enough, I lift weights and do HIIT, I don't watch porn, I minimize "entertainment" and quick dopamine rush activities and so on) and now I feel great no matter what, I feel exactly the same whether I drink a morning coffee/tea or not, I don't get headache if I skip caffeine drinks, I'm focused, energetic, happy, feel good etc.
