I try not to use hurt feelings as a variable in my training.

It has its place though. It's great for when Aunt Flo visits at that time of the month, and your feelings are really sensitive, so you take some weight off the bar.

That's why you film yourself when at and approaching your top sets, so you can be objective with yourself even when you feel like shit, and can add weight to the bar for the day when you're doing better than usual.

Don't think of RPE as a way to take weight off the bar, think of it as a way to add 5lbs to the bar.

Instead of hogging a rack while you film your ass, why not just keep your training max consistent, and increase it in regular intervals.

Then on good days, autoregulate with rep maxes or Joker sets.

Filming yourself takes an extra 30 seconds, deciding whether you should add or remove weight for the bar can be done while you rest. Sub 4pl8 deadlifters shouldn't be doing anything besides linear progression anyways. Moving more weight feels better for a powerlifter than doing more reps anyways :^)

You should do whatever is working for you. Using RPE is not an excuse to not try hard, and no matter who you are, you are probably using RPE in some way.

Program my Squat / Leg Day Today, /PLG/. I went heavy earlier in the week for 3x5 @ 165kg, but thinking of going a bit lower today and getting in more volume.
Squat max is ~200kg, deadlift max is 210kg.
