>Literally hundreds more.

I think it depends on how much extra shit tobacco companies put in your ciggies. They pack on the preservatives and sweeteners hella in the U.S and Canada in comparison to Europe and Asia.

Regardless of cancer risk, you're still fucking your lungs up and destroying your cardio

>is there any proof cigarettes cause cancer?
yes

>how do you explain Greece and japan? they have some of the highest smoker rate yet one of the lowest % of cancer
it's probably a cultural/genetic thing.

>is it based on genetics?
yes

Anything fine particle is +cancer%. Smoking is just one among many in that category. The actual ingredients being varyingly harmfull is just a bonus on top.

i.e. living in a city is just about as bad for your health as smoking.

Smoking is bad for you but not as bad as the hysterical anti-smoking lobby would have you believe.

Just vape instead though.

who cares? the smell and waste of money are worse.

City smog varies heavily. I.E. my town has one mainstreet that is among the red zones of the country cause everyone drives through and zero wind on that street accumulates it but overall we are way below cause we are surrounded by trees. What i mean to say here you might want to consider stats on this when you're concerned about healthy air in a city.
Secondary plants can filter. So surround your house with them if you want cleaner air. There are also plenty of studies how significant the improvements are and wich plants are best.

Vaping causes just a different lung disease. No free lunch.

>is it based on genetics?

everysthing is. but outside factors affect these genes.

Search for Japan's level of COPD suffered compared to Europe.

Not lung cancer but still dying cos you can't can't breath... And slowly too.

>Vaping causes just a different lung disease. No free lunch.
proof?

Vaping hasn't been popular long enough to develop possible conditions or studies yet. Give it about 5-10 more years and we'll see if people start fucking their lungs up

Just think about what youre doing when you smoke. Inhaling the smoke of a burning leaf into your lungs, the smoke is carbon that sits in the lungs and causes inflammation and minor damage which over time can cause the cells to start fuck up in reporduction.
Another reason is ciggies, and just about every other organic material like wood and shit, is slightly radioactive when its combusted by a flame.
Im no expert but thats what i know, i smoke too and dont plan on stopping ;^)

I didn't expect Veeky Forums to be this stupid.

Just smoke cigars you spergs
>looks cooler
>no cancer
>no cardio losses
>actually tastes good

>Guy in OP's pic died from caner

Japan has a very low smoker rate and a similar lung cancer rate.

Greece has 24th most lung cancer deaths in the world.

Who cares? Smoke em if you got em.

>no cancer
lul better check that again kid

>no cancer

>is there any proof cigarettes cause cancer?

If you only smoke one a day your cancer risk is basically not elevated

I miss you bowie

>There's a star man, waiting in the sky

t. I either failed or never took a statistics course

>no cancer

Get the truth now. They just want us to be weak and docile.
