A reminder to all the effort intolerants that trying hard is more important than whatever program you're doing.

true, but also wrong
you are not wrong but forcing this """""""effort intolerant"""""""""" meme is cringy
did my first powerlifting meet today qualified for nationals nice
It was a term my friend with Celiac's gave me to use because of his saltiness with people.who claim gluten intolerance. I found it humorous.
nice humble brag faggot
lets keep it a term between you two then
okay?
No.
Effort intolerants.
Eternalmediates.
Mediocre army.
Mental GDEs.
Low vertical jumpers.
They go by many names, but their sins are the same.

Did you fuck that slampig spotting you?
Good lift lad. My knee always hurts :^(
If I almost pass out every time I do 1-3 rep deadlifts am I trying hard enough?
you're just not breathing
>Excusing brainlets
You sound pretty effort-tolerant yourself
You can't breath while bracing correctly
>implying you fuck her and she doesn't fuck you
Smdh
Thanks. We should rest more.
you can breathe between reps
Is sumo deadlifting really unacceptable?
I have a hard time keeping my form correct with conventional at 4th 5th rep.
Redpill me
Elbow hurt like a motherfucker last bench session, today it was nice. It was growling a little on the later sets, but it didn't bite. I think I will have to go easier on The Press, I think I just did a little too much and ended up twisting it during a rep last bench session.
On the internet you deserve to die for doing sumo, which means that in real life it is a silly joke we have fun with
No
>Redpill me
It's acceptable, but don't cry about not being respected.
198lb guys pulling 700+ sumo in competition? Sure.
150 lb kid pulling 225 sumo because it's easier? No.
Thank you Veeky Forums
170 lb 5'7, pulled 440 lbs conventional today after barely 4,5 months of lifting. Sumo was in my head for a long time and now i will try it and decide whether i'm switching or not.
It's only unacceptable when someone smaller than you pulls sumo and outlifts you. That's your cue to go home and call it a meme lift.
If you don't compete in powerlifting you should pull conventional imo. Unless your femurs are so ridiculously long that your torso is at a negative angle when you pull
How do you breath between reps in a 1 rep set you dumb nigger?
...
everyone starts somewhere
Mm, even if/when I quit serious PL training I'll probably stick with Ed Coan/Stian Walgermo type stance. More comfy, better hamstring engagement, keeps my back nice and flat. For me at least.
...
what did your waifu mean by this?
Loves that BBC
...
what the fuck is the point of equipped lifting?
If you want to use manmade objects to move weight why not just go operate a forklift?
Garagebro are you training at Genesis gym (bulldog)?
are you sure you're not retarded ?
No i train at bulks but one of my training partners is going there tomorrow for squats as Bulldog’s squat bar isnt whippy with 400kg+
I don't know if it's necessarily TRYING HARD that's important, but just trying consistently.
Every pantylifting jagoff always seems to be "taking a break" for this or that and/or switching their hyper-complex triple RPE conjugate momentum sheiko program around every third week.
Both are important. A guy in my gym is taking deload weeks and rest weeks left and right and also never working with high intensity. 180kg squat on him, but trains with 80kg working sets sometimes. Obviously all of us are progressing faster than him
excuse me I tried the same program for one year consistently
i'm nothing if not consistent but my progress is still shit-tier
Why did you go from raw to equipped my deadlift overlord?
Ohh kk I know 400+ squatter from bulldog and I tought his your guy
I still do raw m8
I like to do two equipped and two raw comps per year because I like every aspect of powerlifting
>Don't hit a deadlift PR for 10 months and then tear my groin
>Start doing conjugate when I can lift again 12 weeks later
>Hit a lifetime PR after 5 weeks
Who? Curtis? Hes multiply
The guy i train with is raw
Haha, OK raffy
just had some good ass pozole
ama
raw 400+ kgs squat, holy fuck how big is that guy
114kg
>just had some good ass
You wish, lol.
As big as any roider
Do you guys think TrueCrypt ever got gains?
did Tinytrip ever laid?
Did harsh ever achieve any strength or mass?
No
Yes
Normie would think so but he wont be happy.

What's wrong with gluten intolerant people?
>don't steal that which I post in a public domain
Heh, you wish kiddo.
Did you insert yourself into your gym oneitis' weekend?
I should have put quotes around "gluten intolerant". He gets triggered by people who say they are and can eat wheat and shit just fine.
Sounds like weird people indeed.
Even non gluten intolerant people shouldn't stuff their faces with wheat crap
Switching from low bar to high bar for the first time. Low bar Max 450 ish.
Is it normal for high bar to hurt the traps at first? Only on 225 for warm-ups and it's painful back tolerable. The squat itself feels good. Do I just fight through the pain in my traps until the nerves die off?
Yeah it sucks for a bit. I squatted highbar for the first year+ I was lifting and when I don't squat highbar at all during meet prep it hurts my traps and feels awkward as hell for the first session and a half doing it again after.
Alright good to hear I'm not the only one. Looking to switch do high bar for training so I can stop fucking up my shoulder doing low bar. I've tried every grip and once I go heavy it inevitably comes back and destroys my bench power
I miss Rich
nope, Arthur Chrząszcz, hes raw w/wraps best is 410kg, with bands 450kg raw totally is like 370kg
instagram.com
his raw bests are 300kg x5,
>tfw no qt gf who lets me rub her ears
why live
Oh yeah i know artur, i was there the first time he squatted 400 in single ply
He came second to my friend Dan at a pro comp in december
hes really down to ground dude, always gib some tips and congratulate good work
biggest gym lifts I have witnessed are 310kg x3 front squat, 400kg deadlift (same guy, he has 200kg+ bench but not sure his 1rm for it) and 270kg bench (different guy).
haven't seen 400kg squat though.thats insane
this guy has like no femurs
How do I improve my "Westside"?
yea. which make him great squatter and p. good bencher, your point?
Yeah hes proper eastern europe perfect technique on squats/deads
A 310x3 front squat is probably ROUGHLY equivalent to a 400kg back squat 1rm.. I would think
Wish me luck senpai, I'm switching to high bar immediately. Low bar max 4pl8 but I'm tired of shredding my lower back. I want to squat frequently again.
Long torsoed limblet here, it's weird. Also gonna pull sumo, what conventional diddly does to my back is even worse than what low bar squatting does.
Can I high-bar squat in Chucks or should I invest in lifting shoes? Thanks
How do I improve my Westside?
>How do I improve my "Westside"?
Move to Columbus ohio.
that was my point
>femurs effecting bench
kek
Lads
Can confirm that most gyms here at the very least have all the bands, chains, and meme bars you'd need to put together a program than looks like what's going on there on that particular day.
Try not to get shot if you actually do go to Westside Barbell though.
mirin hard, how many kgs you have there
I wish my form looked like his
>Buying all (((rogue))) gear
Shit's pretty high quality 'yo
If I had money to do it why not? Although I love how normal just iron plates look
this is my goal
I want a home gym so I dont have to deal with normies anymore
Gotta level that floor. Get some self leveling compound.
>How do I improve my Westside?
You under 220 lbs?
Do this instead
t-nation.com
whats that roiders ig again who posts here and squats above 300
hes british i think
Seems like a nice enough guy from his posts here. I'd get a beer with him.
Was just jelly posting
Just got my first home set up and wish I could got all rogue. Had to go with Titan and used iron plates. Got an Ohio power bar tho
Squatting above 300kg and squatting 300kg high are not the same thing.
its funny anyway
>750 kcal left
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
look at this slut what a disgrace
>Complaining about eating in a competitive eating sport
Does anyone have any experience/advice with elbow issues from pressing too much? My left elbow feels like shit when i bend it but there's no numbness down to my fingers.
