earplugs

Have you tried earplugs, a glass of wine and a benadryl?

Blackout curtains.
Melatonin (probably not over 1 mg long term)

If it's loud you're a poorfag who lives too close to traffic.

What's the issue?
Sleeping expert in the fucking thread

I haven't had a bad night of sleep since 2016

NYC sucks, dirty, overcrowded, wildly overpriced. But good luck with the sleep problem

Will it be over soon bros?

Also answer this

Bruh I can fall asleep with earplugs but somehow I take them out during the night. They're custom made to fit my ear canal and I don't see how they could fall out by themselves, so I'm pretty certain I'm taking them out during sleeping somehow. I need them in the morning because of a loud church bell nearby that wakes me up otherwise. Help senpai

I dont drink alcohol and benadryl is gross and i wont hear my alarm if i wear ear plugs

>living in one of (((their))) (((cities)))

welp, you're fucked.

Have you tried buttplugs?

I know of a way solution, you'll never be woken up by sounds ever again. I'm not going to explain it though, most people are to pussy to do it.

Probably this....NYC is quite noise but I live in a 6th floor looking backwards apt and I can confirm I sleep like a baby.

Most people would say to get white noise to get around this, but I personally don't like it
My doors and windows are thick as the average latina, no sound goes past it, and the continued soothing noise of the air conditioner also helps block out any noise (and there is a bunch of it here)

The best thing for you would be to make your earplugs harder to take out (with an extension going around the ear), and if you want to try on the white noise, get a sleeping earplugs (pic related).
Go to the otorhino
As for the "thoughts racing", try reading or guided meditation, maybe that's your thing, Headspace is pretty good for beginners, meditation has been shown to help night terrors too, but specially stay of any stimulants before going to bed (that includes sugar and porn, for real) get the things you usually need after waking up (like water or any medicine you take) on the reach of your hand to make it easier to go back to sleep.
You shouldn't be able to see the time too if you're anxious to get sleeping, practice not worrying about it. Anxiety to sleep is best remedied by taking the time you need, and consistency on the time you wake up.

>thoughts RACING

is it killing yourself because if it is I'd happily do it

get a loud box fan or listen to ambiance like rain fall! very hypnotic!!!!!

>get good earplugs in, those that actually prevent you from hearing most external sounds.
>open rainymood.com
>listen to thunder and rain instead of cars and whore screams
>best sleep ever
>also get an alarm right into your ears with those fuckers

3M reusable ear plugs + silk bed mask. Literally magic. I don't shill anything ever, but good god this combo saved my job.

Even living close to traffic is easy
Just put some earbuds, with relaxing shit of YouTube and that should be enough desu
