What job do you guys have and what does it pay...

What job do you guys have and what does it pay? I'm so fucking uncertain about my future job/career that it's killing me mentally. Maybe I can get some inspiration from you guys

I work as a case manager at a behavioral health agency. My clients have severe and chronic mental health issues (schizophrenia, MDD, bipolar, DID, etc.) and I help to keep them stable and out of the hospital as much as possible. I make 34k. Pretty easy to get into if you have a BA

i'm unemployed

Accountant, just trying to save up enough money to quit and live a fitness neet life

College studying to become an actuary

Until recently I was a small box retail store manager. Not bad pay, 65k annual + bonus, but it's a living hell that I don't recommend. I quit and am now much happier.

Forgot to add $80K

unemployed 35yo neet

I do moving and it's great. Pays way too much, I support myself on 3 days/wk. Only downside is niggers but I suppose that's regional

Rip your back

I'm a pilot in the USAF. This was the job I wanted since I was a small kid.

Ultimately, find something that you'll enjoy, and something you'll be good at. Everyone helps the world out in some way (unless you become like a mattress salesmen). Even janitors are pretty fucking essential to the modern world.

Another thing to do is go and look at what jobs are in demand and have a strong future. I have a friend with a doctorate in physics that can't find a job worth and works at the same coffee chain as one of my high school slam pigs that dropped out.

Shitposter.
Biologist in my spare time.

Primary teacher in ausland, feelsgood

Most physics PhDs make good money. Not fantastic, but usually 80-100k. Your friend must be either inept in marketing himself or very unlucky.

Doing IT administration for an ultraliberal company. I have a lot of flexibility, work from home or wherever the internet is, have a month of vacations and 6 figures, but I just don't find it interesting at all. Would love to bail anywhere to do something I really enjoy

The heaviest pieces are like a 75lb diddly. It's cake and real lifting makes work easier all the time. The DYELs are slowing down and complaining and I'm not even tired.

I literally monetize my gains.

180k with free house, gas plant operator with chevron

dog groomer and furry artist
~$40k/yr

How much do you make?

Anyone know any job fields beyond the obvious police/alphabet soup agencies that like to hire criminal justice or intelligence/homeland security degrees?

They always need security guards

Paramedic in Canada

Starting salary was 80k and next year I move into the critical care paramedic class my salary will be 110K per year and debating whether I want to be the paramedics that work in the helicopters cuz thoe mfs make close to 200k a year after they;ve been working for a while.

looking to transition into being some kind of doctor when I hit 40 in 15 years cause although some people def can do it, I don't see myself being able to do this job forever. money is well worth it but the shifts are unpredictable and you work both nights and days, fucks with your body.

That's what I am now, it's awful and you don't need a degree for it. I'm only doing it due to being in a transition period, but unless you have no ambition in life or are gonna quickly move to something else, don't do it, especially if you have a degree

i am completing my four years apprenticeship as an application developer, signed my future contract this afternoon. gonna make 5.2k CHF as a full stack developer. we are all gonna make it guys

Proffesional shitposter on a Tuvan weasel grooming forum. Basicly a neet

Maybe I'm talking out of my ass right now, but is risk assessment for an insurance company a thing idk? Im talking about theft or robbery insurance kinda shit

Software developer, 93k Canadian per year, 4 years experience

I'm a Landman which is essentially someone who investigates mineral and gas rights and get's leases signed for the exctraction of said minerals. I'm make 60k a year but my company kinda sucks and underpays us. I know people that make upwards of 75k.

im 20 and can do/study/commit to anything within reason.
first suggestion i will pursue for the rest of my life.
give me your knowledge.

Like $25/hr counting tips

Pornstar

Not bad m8. Though, you said the weight is just max 75 lbs, you can't always lift those things with good form I assume. Take care before it's too late. The 3 days a week is awesome tho

How is being a paramedic? Is 22 too late to start? How did you know that that's what you wanted to do? Sorry for all the questions, it's just I'm about to finish a degree in economics but I'm hating the fuck outta working in offices and I feel like I need something that would give me a greater sense of purpose

My buddy does that with his crim j degree, idk if I wanna go that route though

i have a 1 inch penis.

next suggestion will get my full attention.
what job did you WISH you had? what do you wish you studied?

low grade bank clerk

goddammit i'm asking for the improbable not the inevitable.

Same boat as you user, uni starts up soon and I'm not sure if I want to do something creative and fun, like a creative writing bachelor of arts, or something more logical, such as a biology major. Both would be rather interesting I'd imagine. What are you tossing up between?

could be worse, you could be me, leave decent paying job, moved countries, can't get a job, run out of money next week, basically I'm completely fucked right now

Why'd you move?
Where to?
What qualification do you have?

How does it feel literally seeing how thicc the bank accounts are of every person you talk to throughout the day?

Most people have a couple thousand dollars or are in debt

I'm a lab technician in an analytical chemistry firm. I make about 47000 a year 2 years out of college. It's not bad, but theres not a lot of room for growth with just a bachelor's in chemistry so im thinking about going back to school for computer science or to get my PhD.

lab tech. make under $30k. thinking about ending it if I don't get this job in the private sector

neet
0$ but I get tendies every other day

What qualifications do you need to become a mover? And assuming it's just a HS diploma what would you put on your resume in terms of your fitness levels?

Business process support at national utility company. 65k + bonus and benefits. Been there 3 months.

If you're 2 years in, make a move. Most of the jobs outside of your company that would be considered a step up will pick you up at a higher price. Trust me, I worked for a contracting firm for 2, started looking and got a 50% increase in salary from right about where you are at when I made a move.

I work in finance complaints at the moment but going back to university to study computer science

im an electrician
was making 60-80k but moved out of state and took a paycut down to 40k
40k after 9 years in the field.
i could start a company but i need a certain credit score, net worth, etc.
in school for IT currently. applying for help desk jobs every day to try and get experience asap and to get out of electrical work.

the work really isnt bad, its just the same shit and it never changes and never will. at least with IT there are more things that can go wrong that i will have to troubleshoot

Company director, £198000. (About $270000 I think)

Dropped out of uni to found my company and never looked back.

Any man can do it. Get your truck license and they'll hire you on the spot.

This is an advice thread. You go to fit, but this has nothing to do with the topic. You want advice.

I work in an analytics position for a big US company. Pretty hard work but great pay. Intend to retire early and live a cozy neet life.

Nothing really lol. If you're strong I'm sure bosses would like to know. Not everyone is strong enough for the biggest pieces, so it is an asset.

19yr old neet, slowly dying inside.
no real friends, most of them at uni, so only see like 2/3 times a year when they come back from holidays. parents start to resent me. all i do is wake up, cook, lift, cook, browse, 30mins sunshine, cook, sleep.
have no idea what i want to do. just want /comfy/ work and make decent pay.

Software Engineer - 115k

you're young
go to a community college for an A.A. program so that you can then get a B.S. in whatever you decide on during those two years.

Paramedic in US.

50-120k depending on how much you want to work.

@ all my other medics out there.

Scene safe.

Computer programming. Pays well, bad for your brain.

Self administration of LSD psychotherapy helps with the anti-social tendencies it can cause.

Don't drink alcohol to cope with programming if you go that path. Bad feels ahead if you do.

>English
It's a meme discipline. Neither the professors nor the students know a damn thing. The head of the department will be an expert on black people's hair or something.

If you must go the humanities route, do philosophy of history, there's still rigor there. Literature is a wonderful thing but you don't want to be in an English department in the Current Year.

>*philosophy OR history

I answer phones for the top finance co in America. 43k. I hate every second of it and odds of promotion are shockingly bad. I don't know what to do :(

R&D chemist
£24k starting

Could be worse

Where the fuck are you paramedics making that kind of money? Outside of super specialized things like medivac or NPs who do higher acuity transport, it looked like most all make $13-17 an hour depending on the city.

What's A.A.?

Nurse. It pays 14 dollars here in Puerto Rico and around 25 dollars in the USA. It is a shit job though. I only took it because it was the only degree that grantees a job when you finish the bachelors degree while all the other choices cannot get you a job unless you go up to masters degree. At least where I live.

If I could go back in time I would have taken Accounting or Hematology. Both of those fast track you to an FBI job since they mostly work with banking fraud and death.

You can also use any of those options to work in a hospitals lab or administration for a good salary.

Any cops here? I'm trying to get into it and want advice/opinions (inb4 hurr durr fug da pigs :DDD)

The real winner here.

Get fat

associate of arts.
its typically a generalized program than is just the general education requirements for a bachelors degree.
if you just get an A.A. you will be halfway to a bachelors degree no matter which major you choose.
this will also give you a solid 2 years to think about it, and community colleges are very affordable.

Cheers bruv

>trying to pay off debts before I start school again
>no time to take classes even when I do start
>want to end my life daily

Don’t know what to do

what's the pay if you broke it down to hourly?

you shouldn't even need a CDL for a typical box truck, I mean you can go rent a truck from Penske without a CDL

Sure why not sign away the next 4 years of your life into servitude to the government making 10k less a year. Most people are starting at ~54k/yr with a Bachelors of Science

After making E-5 I was making $4k/month AFTER tax, with full healthcare, etc. Good luck beating that.

I did end up getting fucking tired of it and getting out though. Now I'm a poor college student.

>with overtime my salary was 80-100k a year
>as a journeyman I make 100-150k a year
>some of the higher ups make 250-300k a year

Canada is unironically the best place in the world to be a police officer/detective. You have an incredibly good salary, and good quality of life.

I know a load of people who've gone over there with the intention of joining going from UK police > Canadian police.

From what I've been told the key is doing a lot of volunteering work and then just smashing the recruitment process.

Becoming a Detective specifically in Canada I can't speak to.

Don't go the English degree route unless you want to be a teacher. Its really a useless degree unless you know how to market yourself.

Lab tech. Virology and genetics mostly. Perfect for monday mornings. I turn my radio on and do my tests. Nobody bothers me. Southeastern united states. B's in Biology. $53k/year.

I did moving for a bit. It was okay but all the estimates were always wrong, and most customers were assholes.
