What the fuck is going on with my libido

I don't know what's going on with me, Veeky Forums.
33 years old. lifting heavy for 3 weeks, taking magnesium, d3, zinc, fish oil.

I feel fucking amazing and Though minor, I am seeing gains, again I feel really good.

libido has declined significantly, next to nothing comes out when I cum. it takes a lot for me to get a boner. I don't watch porn and I jerk off once maybe twice a week.

What's going on here?

You might be overtraining, it takes a toll on your hormones. My libido flatlines when I don't allow adequate recovery (34 years old btw). I used to be able to lift hard 5 days per week, down to 3 now and even then sometimes I need more rest.

I train hard 3-4 days a week

I don't think it's a testosterone issue just based on how well I feel

Though I have been under a lot of stress lately and my anxiety is through the roof, can this have something to do with it?

Absolutely. All stress causes a cortisol response, which is ok sporadically but when it's chronic (work stress, overtraining, emotional, etc.) your hormones go out of whack, and one of the first signs is your libido turns off. There are plenty of resources you can check out, I'd recommend "Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers" for a start. My first recommendation, if you aren't waking up with an erection every morning, is to take a few days off from lifting and make sure you eat and sleep enough. Let your body get back to baseline, we aren't in our 20s anymore.

Really appreciate the genuine replies, mate.

I just realized that this shit started happening when I got laid off.

Sure thing bud. If you're interested in mixing up your training routine I'd check out "Body By Science," you can find a pdf of the book on archive dot org. His HIT routines are very low frequency so it could give you a chance to recover while maintaining or even gaining.
Suck about the layoff, I'm between jobs as well. Got an interview Monday morning, fingers crossed. We're both gonna make it.

Good luck! We'll make it!

Man... I'm 38 and engaged, looking to have kids soon (fiancee is 25, so no major rush for her), and everyone at work says your energy tanks once you get the ring on and have a kid. On the plus side, my girl works out and we've vowed not to let each other get fat. How did you guys do after marriage?

shoulda done SS faggot

Grown ups are talking. Fuck off.

>your energy tanks once you get the ring on and have a kid

This is bullshit. It's social conditioning: you give up giving a shit because "I got mine". American culture is so fucked up.

So...just don't stop giving a shit. :)

Grown ups are fucking. Talk off.

I think if you marry some bitchy person this happens.

Leave.

Its called 'getting old'

It does things like;
Break your dick
Make you more susceptible to injury
And make everyone think you're old

Awesome, thanks. She's a keeper, and I have no worries about marrying her regardless whatever MGTOW videos I see on JewTube. I'm content with being that "hot older dad" at the PTA meetings...

Fuck ups are talking. Groan.

(you)

31 here, train 3 days a week (SS), 210lbs at 14%, and my libido is dead too. Got myself a testosterone test recently, came back 382 ng/dl, was literally BTFO by the results, free test was adequate though, at 11.99 ng/dl. Dunno what's up, I'm guessing a vitamin D deficiency since I never go outside, so I started making sure I get 20 minutes of sun a day (live in Florida FFS), and started eating canned Oysters too just in case it's zinc.

Fucking cutting right now to 200lbs and sub 10% BF so I can go get another test that shows me if my test increases or if my estrogen is out of whack.

your test levels are falling, nothing much you can do about it

I'm , last blood check showed 720 test. I attribute it to high intensity training with ample rest days and lots of sleep. I'd be wary of getting too shredded, a common side effect is hormone problems and fatigue. IMO ~12% is the sweet spot for aesthetics and health.

Make sure you're hydrated, and eat some eggs. The testes use the cholesterol in the eggs.

I've actually been wondering, if you don't consume enough cholesterol, what hormone does your body use to produce it?
