Why do you lift?

Anons here seems to lift for the girls, others lift because it makes them feels good.Me? I lift so I can throw people around like ragdolls or to not get throw around like a ragdoll.

What do you lift for?

I just like the feeling of being big and want to mantain it. Lifting can also be pretty fun sometimes. Started for girls, but realized it's pointless after one year. Lifting will not change your shitty personality.

>want to get a superhero physique

>want to be strong/big enough to defend myself in a fight

>want to be able to look in the mirror and not hate what I see in the reflection

>the ladiez

Not quite sure, but flexing infront of the mirror feels nice even though im pretty dyel

this, i just really like looking at my body and thinking "damn, that's all me"
for the first time in my life, i actually wanked to my reflection and it was fucking beautiful

At first it was to be better. Now after nearly 6 years it's mostly just to not lose what I've built. Periodically I'll get re motivated and go for strength or aesthetics but it depends on what's going on in my life.

SELF-HATRED

I lift for my husbando!

A girl told me that she likes rugby players.

Started because I was a skellington and I used to watch vids of Klokov squatting and OHping
Also Tony from Hotline Miami
Exactly 1 year and 1 day later I've gained 65lbs
It's literally the reason I get out of bed in the morning it's such a good fuckin catalyst for my depression and rage
Don't mean to sound edgy but I mean it,
Hitting new PRs makes me feel like a god
Pic is me trying to look big
I CANT WAIT TO BE HUGE

You're a big guy

I enjoy the pain, because it reminds that I'm not dead yet

>Not lifting for ReviewBrah

For Uncle Adi

Interesting perspective. Thanks for sharing.

to make the proud

>implying

I lift so I can overpower my brother one day. He’s always been stronger than me due to him being 8 years older than me.

...

Ding Ding

>Used to lift fueled by sheer self hatred
>Ended up doing a lot of stupid shit like not deadlifting with proper form
>Also ended up just gaining the weight I'd lost back once I felt better
>Ended up becoming kind of fat
>Now work out 6 times a week on average
>Enjoy the feeling of being healthy and becoming stronger

Honestly I lift for myself right now. I want to become my best version.

You know THAT person? That guy who is kind, humble, popular, fit and makes you just want to fucking gouge your eyes out because they're so perfect? Aiming for that. And wherever I end up is going to be pretty fucking good still.

For you

I lift to impress the dad i didnt have growing up

I was tired of being skinny fat and wanted to become more asthetic.

Only real answer here.

This. To live a life as energized as Zyzz did, short though it may have been.

We're all gonna make it IF WE REMAIN DEDICATED!
