Why are those threads always started by people with a higher-than-average income?

No idea but how the fuck do people here make such insane amounts of money? I bust my ass 55 hours a week and destroy my hands and shoulders just to make 23k a fucking year

Yes, it is three thousand dollars a year, not a typo

Because people who have average or lower incomes don't feel motivated to share it as it is nothing special, are you really asking this dumb question?

110k a year is more than a dream to me. I make 18k a year and I'm 28 and live on my own

>tfw never afford a car
>tfw never be able to buy new clothes from a store

I make 15.50 an hour throwing boxes around at a UPS warehouse. It has a union and full benefits, but the pay sucks and it's taking a toll on my body. It's hard to find motivation to work out sometimes honestly. Hopefully I should be a driver by next Christmas season

Yes I'm really asking the question. I make more than OP and I feel those comparaison threads are started by people that want to feel better by comparing themselves to people that have less

You gotta escape soon user.

Im gonna escape soon enough whether dead or alive because I'm not living poor as fuck anymore

Hate my life because my job has ruined my body and I'm not even old yet

all you guys who are dead end factory jobs making no money

if you arent gonna go to fucking school or you arent smart enough or whatever, get a job at as a corrections officer
prison guard
low wage starting, like 13 an hour depending on your state, but it has benefits and a nice pension and you can go work for a federal prison after you get some experience and make more money.

Not smart enough is why I'm at the factory to begin with

then do what i said.
itll guarantee you a much better future than the one you're going to have if you stay at a factory.

Not to bad for working in a trade. The job its self is quite easy and enjoyable, it is the environment that I work in that makes it tough.

>41
>factory work
>26k per year

Been at the factory for almost 21 years now

18k is more than enough to live on

It is enough to live if you mean survive but not enough to actually live an enjoyable life

Live as in you can’t afford any type of insurance, phone bills, car, decent groceries, vacation, and most other things not essential to survival.

>I work 80 hours per week but at least my kids have nice things

Kids need a father presence much more than toys though

>31
>quit four colleges
>currently in trade school studying an electrician degree
>12k€ in neetbux

I'm frugal as fuck and pay peanuts for rent so I'm even able to put aside money each month. Making 25k€ which is around the starting pay in the field here would sounds absolutely astronomical to me. If anyone's gonna hire a 33 yo fresh graduate with zero experiece that is. Though getting a job in construction would probably require a car which would mitigate some of the gains but still.

>How
I'm sorry user, I really don't mean disrespect with this but it's because they are able to do things that are more than having a pair of arms and following basic instructions
>t. Engineer who in part writes assembly instructions for manufacturing lines

kek I made more than that while typing this post.

This

I can survive but my life is absolute shit compared to everyone else I knows, I can't go out and do anything, I can't drive, I can't use internet unless I'm at a public Wi-Fi spot etc

Shhhh, he might be a bug man.

Bad at math and/or typing? That's okay. The world needs plenty of bartenders.

>welfare
>about 900 euros a month

No disrespect taken as I know I'm about as dumb as a stump which is why the only work I can do is slave labor

...

>32
>IT
>44k per year

I was basically a neet until 29, and then I got an associates in Comp Sci from a community college. Now that I'm in this company, a lot of paths are starting to open up.
You guys can all make it.

Iktf bro

>tfw minimum wage my whole life
>tfw couldn't do any job above manual simple labor without getting fired because it was too hard for me

I like my job but I definitely don't want to be doing this forever. Paying off some debts then I'm gonna be going back to school for a degree in electrical engineering.

Serious you guys are fun as fuck to talk to, always made my day better(as long as things don't get technical lol) when I was still at that job and much more tolerable than other engineers. Much love.

The only people who post are posting in this thread are those with extremely high salaries to be honest

Tirdh worder here .5 k end me

I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I spend most of my day looking for cures to help alleviate my skin condition which kills my confidence, and trying to find a career I'd enjoy.
I'd consider most things, except military (nearly fell for like a 6+ year contract), retail, or something that requires uni.

How the fuck do you all make so much money?

19
$16,800
I work at a flower shop

honestly, get a 4 year degree in whatever you want
then join the navy as a commissioned officer

retire in 20 years with a full pension and move to some country where that pension will allow you to live well.
you could live in the u.s. on the 20 year pension, but it would be worth more in other countries.

>23
>Chemistry
>TA (Biochemistry Grad student)
>$2k a month

This applies to working as a civilian in the government as well. No need to join military faggotry.

Wanna give me $4000?
>so i can buy braces i have tmj for almost 2 years

if you can get the civilian position that will work
if not, joining the navy is kind of guaranteed as long as you arent an idiot.
