been vegan just over 7 months. never felt better physically. more energy in the mornings, clearer more vibrant skin, mentally i feel less foggy. take the plant pill, Veeky Forums. you won't regret it.

Lacto-ovo is literally the easiest diet change for me. It was super easy getting rid of meat, but getting rid of eggs, cheese, and yoghurt kills me.

1. that people quit is irrelevant to whether they and you should be.
2. D3 isn't a vitamin, it's a hormone produced by skin's exposure to the sun. There's no epidemiological effect of veganism on D3 levels- which means this isn't relevant to clinical nutrition.
3. supplements are cheap, vegan, and fix deficiencies. Also, omnivores are just as likely to be b12 deficient.
4. low cholesterol is good. People with genetically lower base levels of cholesterol have better outcomes across the board in terms of cardiovascular mortality.
5. Vegans- especially british vegans- tend not to pay attention to what they eat. A tablespoon of flax meal a day, or a walnut, is enough to get your o3s. Algae supplements are also good. This isn't even close to a reason to not being a vegan.
6. Excretion isn't enough to show deficiency. Vegans do not suffer from the various diseases of iodine deficiency- like goiters. Your body recognizes you're getting more or less iodine and alters to retain or discharge more. Have you never taken biology or biochemistry?

9. ADA released a statement asserting vegan diets are adequate for all stages in the human life cycle- including nursing, pregnant, elderly, and atheletes.

Tried going vegan and only lasted 2 weeks. Introduced eggs and cheese into the equation and lasted 3 months. Im a cardio fag and i gotta be honest, my runs, rides, and swims felt a shit load better without meat in my diet. Give it a go fitfags, you might be surprised at the results.
