Turns out I have naturally hyperextended knees (25º). Asked my doctor about the safety of squats and deadlifts but he has no clue.
Google only gives answers for injuries and rehab. Even though they sometimes hurt like a bitch, can I still do those lifts without snapping my shit up?

It's actually light hypermobility, all my joints do weird shit but the knees cause a real problem.

Your knees don't hyperextend 25 degrees, don't lie.

If your knees hyperextended more than 10 degrees you would likely have a diagnosis of ehlers danlos which carries other health risks and your doctor would be looking into it.
