>it crashes into the workout bench next to me
>too much weight on right hand but refuse to let go
>fall sideways off the bench
>BOOM
>collect myself and look around
>the whole fucking gym is staring at me silently
>one of the big guys who gave me advice walks over giggling and helps me with the weights
>suggests I drop 2.5kg

Not a big deal, dude. Everybody fucks up. You should finish your compound lifts before isolations though (I.e. OHP before curls). Tiring one muscle group involved in a multi-joing lift will make your form shitty (as you probably just found out). Save isolations like curls, tricep extensions, abductions, ab work, etc. for the end of your workout.

In the five years I've gone to my gyiom I've never seen the type of bulling I hear about from those tumblrfags or such.

Tiring your biceps wont affect the bench that much

What you need is a spot buddy amd some preworkout

biceps are a secondary in the bench press so it would help down the line.

replace with arnold press so you control the weight in front of your shoulder so you dont have to fail bail when you cant complete the rep

I once took a plate off some random bros bar by accident, they were hanging on the side of the machine at the same height as the free plates, so I took one for my press without thinking much about it. Another dude called it out before he started lifting though, so nothing happened, was still a bit awkward though.
