Switching from mixed to hook grip added 20kg to my deadlift. Not even joking, pain is only bad at first then you dont even notice.

Its actually mind blowing how good hook grip is if you have lanky skinny fingers like me.
Its feels like you have infinite grip compared to regular double over hand, and much more secure and feels easier on your body than mixed.
