the western blot antibody test doesn't have false-negatives. It's the gold-standard which is why it's so expensive.
If your HSV2 result was below 3.5, get the western blot.
Mine was 1.5 which is 85%+ false positive chance, you owe it to your future partners.

the hsv2 IGG test (what you'll get from a normal lab) gives you a number as a result.
Over 1.1 is considered positive.
However, results between 1.1-3.5 are considered "low positive" of which the false-positive likelihood is highest.
If you're 1.5 for example, your chance of having gotten a false-positive result is over 80%
But above 3.5 and you most likely have it for real.
