Let's fucking settle this, how much is one pl8???

The fact that you needed a strawpoll for something that is so self explanatory that a literal retard could understand... it boggles my mind.

1 plate is 40kg. You DONT could the bar.

How stupid is this?

There's nothing to settle. It's 135, or 60kg

WHY strawpull, DYEL? 95kg, or 10lb. FFS soyfag.

>counting the bar

Correct

how long have you been lifting?

This is why it's so important to list how much you lift in terms of lb/kg rather than how many slabs of metal you have on a rod!

Attached: 1521226325807.jpg (682x504, 47K)

This is why pl8 is the best unit of measure. If someone says they bench 200lbs, you have no idea whether or not they're counting the bar or not, but 2pl8 is always 2pl8.

thanks pepe.

The bar is 20kg. 1 plate is 20kg

If you want 60kg. You put 1 20kg plate on each side. At 60kg, there is 1 bar and TWO plates. You're lifting two plates.

I don't understand why you weak bitches don't understand this. I hit 2 plate in my first month of lifting. It's no big deal.

On another episode of things that never happened.

A truly based and exotic shitpost user.

Have a (You) for your stupidity

So many 60kg votes
anons...

>Let's fucking settle this, how much is one pl8???
I don't need to answer your autistic poll, 1pl8 is 90 pounds/40kg.
/thread

>not counting the clips

Speak American, foghat.

>not counting the weight of your arms

>how much is one pl8???
Not enough.

>not counting the sweat on the bar left by you and/or previous guy

>All these idiots
You lift one single plate WITHOUT USING a bar.

THIS

135 is 62kg.
Euro plates are 25kg, so 1pl8 is 70kg in euro.
Unless you're a fucking faggot and use smaller plates to inflate your ego, than sure, it's 60, 50, 40 or 22kg you mong.

dumb. in my gym, its 20kg kek

THIS

>Euro plates are 25kg
no, they're 20kg. They go from 1.25 > 2.5 > 5 > 10 > 20kg on all the gym I've been

well one individual plate weighs 50 pounds, but you have to account for the hole, which brings it down to 45. Since "1 pl8" means one plate on each side, that totals out to 90 pounds. Therefore, one plate is 90 pounds. Or, if you include bar weight (lol) its 135, but that is just stat padding.

>kilograms
pounds have over twice the resolution of kilograms you decimal point-loving fag

>each plate: 20 kg
>the bar: 20 kg
20*2 + 20 = 60 kg

Olympic plates are 25kg, average metric gym plates are 20kg = 45lb.

Is that why americans are stronger than yuros? They get to lift with more precision.

>counting the number of plates on the bar

Alright, who are the jokers who responded with one plate on one side? Show yourselves you bunch of jokers.

nah mat my gym goes to 25 kg as well, both the color Olympic plates and the regular. it was confusing when i first started and no one on this form really talks 25kg plates.

I'm a noob but pretty much this, I think.

I'd there anything lower?

135 lbs

Why shouldn't i count the bar? There are bars with different weights in my gym.

You lift weights, not the bar, so why would you count the bar?

My gym only go up 20kg I guess it depends

..Because it's relatively heavy and it's not like your body doesn't feel its weight?

> one pl8
> one
> is two plates

??

Attached: 1521198604812.jpg (720x575, 26K)

>no option for 135 lbs
fucking irrelevant countries don't matter

so you lift bars?`I lift weights the bar is just for holding the weights

1pl8 is standard code for one 20kg plate on each side of the bar. A 1pl8 bench is lifting the bar and two plates.

If you're counting calories and eat a sandwich, do you count the calories in the bread or is that just there to hold the bread and thus doesn't count?

I personally don't count the milk in my protein shake as its just there to hold the whey powder

you only count for the milk in the water, so 87% water do your owjn math

>pepe

arent you suppose to count your arms?

What the fuck are you talking stupid retard.

>over 75% of people counting the bar
holy shit there are more newfags than i thought

Attached: 1492045868492.jpg (236x226, 11K)

>not the bar
m8 how are you lifting the weights without lifting the bar

that's not pepe newfag

None of those you faggot. It’s 135 pounds.

>not counting the extra resistance of the air being moved by the motion

Attached: 1520785756091.jpg (1129x1200, 118K)

I honestly don't know who is baiting who now.

>he benches plates instead of a handful of bars
never gonna make it

Nice larp faggot.

>when you lift
>the bar weighs nothing
>so you don't count it
Nice pretending.

>only benching 1 plate
what are you, gay?

>using a bar at all to bench 1pl8
You guys really are clueless

Attached: 692.jpg (600x600, 23K)

I just relocated to Keklelistan.

the plates have the weight on the sides of them, just take one pl8 off the rack and read the numbers, thats how much one of them weighs
:^)

This, my bench is currently at 5 bars.

>tfw at 2/4/6/8

Everybody else is memeing.
