Yes there is, you are just ignoring it. The good arguments for meat are that it is relatively nutrient dense and those nutrients have high bioavailability, making it easier to get what you need. That's also assuming the livestock is properly fed and cared for. Livestock in the States is treated like shit: they aren't fed what they evolved to eat, they are fed the body parts of their parents, and they are injected with synthetic hormones. All these things make the meat worse, though the same can be said for "round up ready" crops drenched with glyphosate on a regular basis. Meat - especially red meat - increases your chances of contracting a plethora of chronic diseases. It is also easy in the "developed world" to have a vegan diet provided you are smart enough to properly plan your diet.
