One armed plank

I like long-lever planks (elbows in line with eyes instead of shoulders). They're pretty taxing.

Should I switch to a harder variation now that I can do five 1-minute planks with great effort, or should I continue doing it this way until it's easy?

This thread made me remember the planking meme, what year even was that?

On A day's I do 2 2.5 minute elbow planks with a 25lb plate on back..

On B days I do 1 2.5 side planks for each side.

If you're hitting 3+ minutes with them then you are probably not doing them right. They should be excruciating.
