Probably won't engage your back muscles as much since it puts more of the weight on your legs.
Less chance for injury or aggravating injuries but if you know how to do traditional deads and don't have a jacked up spine, just do them normally

I’m an amateur as fuck lifter who had a severe lumbar disc herniation 2 years ago. I still can feel the tinge in my back regularly. Deadlifting with a straight bar does not irritate it at all because I keep my back straight you fucking brainlet. You can hurt yourself just as easily with a hex bar, and considering you think it’s safer you might be at even greater risk

so is conventional deadlift honestly

trap bar puts less shear on your low back at the start off the pull, especially high handle trap bar, so it's definitely the safer option

>i'm an amateur as fuck lifter
>let me post my worthless opinion anyway

ok lol

yes
its not a deadlift

am i the only one here who calculates moons orbit so i now excactly when moon-earth-bar is in a perfect line to add some extra gravity force to my lift?
and please don't tell me you don't add the atmospheric pressure to your lift, this would be a noob mistake.
