There is literally no reason to do high volume. If you do a few sets of heavy weight to real failure each time, you could do one exercise per bodypart for the whole week.

Yep. this is the final redpill of natty lifting. That your fancy 6 day a week high volume PPL program won't make you any bigger than a simple 2 days a week fullbody hitting 3-4 sets with heavy weight for each compound.
all the high volume shit at the end of the day is just burning calories. It Can be fun to do to get pumped up etc, but a lot of guys are kidding themselves with the shit they do
