1 pound of fat is 3500 calories, so if your maintenance calories are 3500, you can only lose 1 pound of fat per day by fasting. What you likely lost is water and stomach weight.

Why am I losing weight but not changing physically?

At 5'11, 194 lbs, I was repping 1/2/3/4 and change. I was not huge by any means but I looked muscular and well beyond normie standards.

I've been cutting for 8 weeks now and I'm down to 184 lbs. I honestly don't think I look better or leaner. I think I look worse. I feel like my muscles are deflated and my belly fat hasn't changed AT ALL. I objectively look worse. Is it possible I'm doing something catastrophically wrong? I'm getting about 2k calories a day and my gym performance hasn't dipped much.
