Any tips besides eat more? It’s kind of hard to find beginner work out plans that revolve around gaining weight instead of losing it.

I started from around the same shape, 3 months in, gained some weight and don't regret it. We will all make it, man.

Don't overdo it with cardio, stick to lifting, drop the """perfect programme""" meme, talk more to the gym folks, actually listen to their advice and your body and don't quit.

EAT. LIFT. Eat whatever the fuck you want for now, just get enough brotein, when u dont look like auschwitz mode u start eating clean and continue bulking. And LIFT. if you dont lift you'll just get fat, just lift and eat. Also read the fucking sticky

Do compounds my dude. Start reasonable and build some strength so you have a solid platform to work with. Continue to eat big. Make sure you eat well, lots of veg and carbs as well as protien, eat as much as you can. Drink milk, full fat, use butter and oils in food. Have a good take out once a week. Pizza etc. Just keep junk to a minimum. The key is to eat big and lift big, at your size now that is key, but do it safely and sensibley. Remember nothing happens over night. You will make it bro.

You're at a great fucking advantage over fatties: even your first noob gains will be instantly visible and that's going to be a huge motivational boost.

This. It does piss me off when guys bitch about gaining weight. All you need to do is enjoy more food and lift weights. I could take apart a cow with my bare hands and suck the milk from its still warm tits when i get hungry. Just eat consistently. Eat and lift and rest. Repeat.

This and go straight to the weights rather than the machines. It's healthier, more effective, natural and usually the people who hang out at that part of the gym are better to hang around.

I'm not hating on you man, but that is my honest estimation, I too used to believe I was at 10-12% when I looked like that, but once I competed and actually went down to around 5% body fat, I realized just how much I used to underestimate my BF%. There is still visible fat around your lower abdomen and lower pectorals, in direct sunlight mind you which is the best lighting you can have. Which means for sure lower back fat still exists. No vascualrity in the legs, chest, delts or lower abs also means you are closer to 15-20% than 10%. This isn't a negative thing man, you look great at that BF5 which means you have good genetics and would look really stunning if you really hit 10%
