I like it, feels a bit lighter for the first couple of reps and that boosts confidence a little, but they're always hard at the end. It also makes it a bit easier to adjust if you're not feeling it that day for whatever reason.

there is nothing wrong with it. after your linear gains are over, you can try for example double progression 5 5 5 and next time 7 5 5. filling up your sets before you start increasing the weight.

I squatted 315 4x8 and benched 185 3x10 today :)
First time lifting in 4 weeks because school has been murdering any free time I used to have. Before today I think I hadn’t squatted in something like 7 weeks. I know the weight was shit but I was just happy to get a workout in. Gonna try to make a real effort to carve out more time for lifting
